Do you take painkillers like felvin and ibuprofen for menstrual cramps? They are known to make AF flow scantily. Have you tried increasing the flow by taking watermelon, pineapple, kunu, ginger, bitterleaf juice, ruzu bitters and hot water pelvic massage? The hot water pelvic massage helps make AF flow when I notice felvin is not allowing it to flow well.

MamaHeaven, it is well with you o. Tuesday's kpekus can result in pregnancy if you're sure you actually ovulated. Sometimes these ovulation symptoms are just indicators that we are about to ovulate. And it's not just by sperm meeting egg, it's when God says it's time. Plenty mamas here have testified to kpekusing just once and it clicked. Some kpekused after they thought ovulation had passed and it entered. I always say to myself that if God could pass through hymen and menopause to plant babies in wombs, then there's nothing He can't do, ovulation or otherwise. Call hubby and talk to him abeg. Whether it's bfp or not this cycle, remain positive and tell yourself everyday that you're pregnant. I tell myself everyday that I'm pregnant with twins even as AF is here. One day, just one day, heaven will make it real.

I know its only missed AF I'd use to know I'm pregnant when d real deal comes because I usually have all manner of PMS. Sore tips, sensitive breasts, dizziness, nausea, toothache, pimples, lack of appetite, headache, cramping. They said its as a result of hormonal imbalance. I'm tired of balancing these stubborn hormones o. And your question gave me food for thought. When I was single, I never experienced all these o. Na once I go just see AF. And paracetamol dey handle the small cramps sef. But na since I marry start to 'see man' as my people dey talk am, na in all these nonsense start. Shey na the 'seeing man' dey cause the hormonal imbalance and painful menstrual cramps?

mztubsy, 2ww is just frustrating. Three days ago, I woke up around 3am and couldn't sleep back which was unusual for me. So I tagged it preggy symptom. lol. And it's so freaking annoying that PMS and preggy symptoms are similar. This morning, I could have sworn I was preggers despite cramping badly and flowing like a tap. I was so nauseous, the thought and smell of food made me feel like gagging. I managed to eat one akara ball and almost threw up, then I became very weak. Mtchew!

In another unrelated matter, I just dey imagine as your hubby don chop dis your fine hair taya during the bed royal rumble. lol

Mama, you don't need to go searching. You can improvise. Necessity is the mother of invention. I couldn't get hot water bottle to buy anywhere in this bush so I tried using sachet water (pure water) and it worked just fine. Hubby's singlet can serve as the flannel cloth. I don't use the flannel cloth anymore ever since I watched a YouTube video of rubbing the oil on the skin and just placing the hot water bottle on it for better results. If you're going to place the hot water bottle directly on the oil on your skin, you have to be careful with the temperature of the hot water bottle because direct contact with the castor oil makes it hotter. To avoid stories that touch. It is well with you.

legendsmother, I must applaud your effort in trying to bring life into this thread. Sometimes this thread is like someone walking down the street and sees a big house with just a candle light (you and some mamas here) and just next door is a house filled with so much light, rejoicing and laughter. Are we saying because we don't have kids or want more, we don't have joy, laughter or fun in our lives? All we ever discuss are AF, hsg, ovarian cysts, fertility drugs etc. Shuu! People no dey fight for una area? Una no dey watch film ne? Una no get annoying colleague or boss for office? Or dey cook food wey we never see before? Or travel go place wey we never hear before? No artist wey go show us her paintings? No business woman to advertise her goods and services? I know I'm guilty too but the fear of being ignored especially when a particular drug or ailment is the topic of discussion, holds me back and work wey no let me see road but legendsmother don ginger my swagger.

There's more to life than having children o. Ask wife wey cut husband pompom after six children because she caught him cheating or husband wey break wife head because na only one piece of meat she give am yet they get three boys and one girl or those battling it out in the divorce courts even though they have kids.

In know CM is a sign that one is ovulating ,saw mine on Fri and sat but dh wasn't around, saw again yesterday but I was down with malaria so we had one quickie, today is the expected day of ovulation no cm again

From my own experience and findings, seeing CM is an indicator that you're going to ovulate soon. Most times, it stops just before or during ovulation. And after ovulation, you start seeing the non-fertile CM.

However, seeing CM every cycle doesn't necessarily mean you ovulate. That's why it's advisable at times to go for TVS and the likes to make sure you actually do ovulate.

Nevertheless, a number of women now on the newborn thread got their bfps without seeing CM. Na God hand everything dey.

My first time of commenting here, ur menstral pain attracted me ( strange but true). I know what it feels like. Mine could pain for Africa but i found a remedy. May not be the best but it does magic.
Take DICLOFENAC tablets as soon as u know u are approaching ur period. As in u will see AF tomorrow u take it today or take it when you start feeling tummy discomfort.
If the pain comes aggressively before u take ur meds,take the meds ASAP use hot water bottle and place it on ur pelvic. U will get relieve in less than 30minutes. Sorry for the pain my dear, pain was the oder of my AF days till i discovered diclofenac.Hope it works for you
