Hello House,
Please I would like to know if it is a good idea for a 2.1 BSc holder to apply for a graduate certificate program in Canada? The person studied Agric Economics and graduated in 2012, but has been working as a Procurement Specialist since 2014. He has a Diploma from UK's Chartered Institute of procurement & Supply (CIPS) and wants to apply for graduate certificate program in International Business Management (majorly because of limited funds and this program does not require GRE). Also, will he be able to process PR within the 1 year post graduate work permit after completing the certificate program?
Your thoughts will be appreciated.
Thank you. |

Hello, Do have your classes online or offline? MNTS0: Salut!
I started my classes with a French learning center last week. It's scheduled for 6 days per week.
And it's been fun so far!
I'm planning on writing TEF the last week of June, so I'm trying to improve as fast as possible. Here are some things that I find helpful;
1. Reading.
2. Listening to French podcasts on Spotify.
3. Watching Netflix movies with French audio and English subtitle or vice-versa.
4. Listening to the test practice recordings
5. Learning with the Duolingo app.
6. Switching my phone's language to French.
I hope I'll be prepared by then and everything turns out well.
I was wondering if anybody would be interested in exchanging contacts?
We could keep in touch and speak the language with each other to help us improve faster. Or maybe a Whatsapp group or something.
Thoughts? |

DonOms: Welcome aboard flight INTRO2017 flying from Room to Couch. Don't expect unlimited options for in-house entertainment on this flight as introverts are not so big on that. You'll be glad there'll be little or no bashing but you can count on getting real-life experiences of introverts once in a while. Also, there's a wide range of encouraged activities to help passengers become better versions of themselves although that won't come up too often as introverts cherish their ME-time and recharge moments which can take forever sometimes. All things being equal, this flight promises to live up to its expectations and extroverts never board because they can't stand the in-flight activities. Sit back and relax. If you have any questions, do feel free to ask as all passengers are always ready to help. Your Pilot's name is @Olarewajub. Enjoy the flight! This is awesome...I love the way you write |

Hello Everyone,
My CRS score is currently around 457. I am currently having quite a challenge learning French to write TEF before I turn 32 in October. Please can someone let me know how the provincial nomination works? I'd really love to boost my points without the TEF option....thanks! |

pappyrose: I think age and experience play a serious role in this. Another thing that I think contributed to mine was that people started insulting me for never taking anything serious. I made joke out of every issue either serious or trivial issues, I had to start learning how to 'couple'. I only catch fun with my inner caucus but when I'm in d midst of unfamiliar people, I play very safe cos I don't want to be embarrassed. Same with me...I was a very lively kid, but I think I became withdrawn and introverted when I got into secondary school. I still don't know how that happened, but I love me the way I am regardless. I only enjoy meeting new people majorly because of knowledge-sharing, asides that, I love being alone most of the time with my books, internet and good music! So glad to find like-minded people here....bisou bisou!! |

Wow...good to discover this thread. Funny how I was still in SS3 when this thread was initiated, and here I am now-the procurement specialist in my company, with no prior experience in the field/career. However, I have learned on the job and I have found purchasing and supply chain very interesting. I am curious to know what the initiator of this thread is up to now, with your drive for SCM in 2006, you must have come a long way almost a decade after.......cheers! |
