I’m 35years old. The woman I married is same age with me. While we were dating, She lied to me that she was 29years. I only found out we are same age after the wedding. Like that wasn’t enough, she has same thinking with this Doctor.
If this is real, you have the legal rights to walk away from that bondage on the ground of deceit.

The minister of Education needs to do something about our education sector.

It's not fair that studying for a Masters degree overseas will trigger brain complications for students.

How do you explain it that a person graduates with a 1st class or 2.1 in Nigeria, gets admitted for a Master's degree overseas, then slumps and dies either while still studying or shortly after studying.

This brings me back to what Aunty Rapuokwu, my CRK teacher told me after catching me armed with almost half of the new testament hidden in between my armpit for use as "expo" during one of her exams.

She simply said, "you are only weakening your brain energy by cheating".

And she wasn't wrong; my first visit to the psychiatric hospital as a patient was from a supposed 'brain fäg' because I blanked out after being handed my Further Maths question paper and seeing Quadratic equations that looked like Hieroglyphics.

With that said, I hope village people are finally happy...because how do you rationalize someone not dying from the stress, heartache, poverty and hardship in Nigeria but then dying from a mere headache after succesfully integrating in a country of limitless potentials?

However, it is not right for a religious person like myself to sound so superstitious.

What if it is not underused brain energy or village people that are responsible for all these 'slump-and-die' deaths, but prayerful sidekicks wishing to replace them?

Mama Ramota still says that's the only reason she was scared when she found out I was cheating on her with a born-again Christian.
🤣🤣🤣
They don activate this one..🤡🤡

See ehhh Nigeria is not ready to attain the level of developed nations despite all the resources that abound.

Yesterday my team did a supply to a government owned corporate location and the staff who came to receive and sight the product delivered could not spell simple words he needed to write on our documents .This is supposed to be an internal control staff .

I have not recovered from that shock since yesterday .The other staff who we have been working with for a long time said we should not even talk that the guy is a son of a very big person in the country.
The country is gone.

People who got jobs due to merit back in the days, nowadays ones they are due for requirement, they will fix their offspring who isn't qualified because they know who know who knows.

What I saw in NYSC camp made me have a rethink back then, some graduates can't spell their names. grin

We are in a deep bottomless pit in this country.

The last set of credible hands in Government, left after Jonathan era.

Now, we have more of Incompetent hands fixed by Tribalism and Nepotism.
We are just suffering the consequences.
And this is still morning we never reach the afternoon 🤣🤣

After this year's big brother.
The organisers should take a break or give us all stars second edition, if they want to save the show.
Organizing another edition next year with new housemates will ruin the show completely.

To save what's left of the show, a second edition of all stars is necessary for this will lure back people's lost desires to the show when they see their favorites again.

Imagine having phyna, Erica, laycon, saga, groovy, t boss and Co back in the house.

It will be huge and it's no secret that last year's all stars was one of the best edition of big brother ever in history.

Only another edition of all stars can save this show and whoever is responsible for selecting this year's housemates needs to get a sack letter.
The show died when they started using favouritism to select all the housemates.

Pepper dem remained the best edition, because that particular audition was open and free for all..They went for character.

But, now it is as if they have selected their faves for next edition.

If you tamper credibility and originality, Everything go scatter.

I know siblings that do that rubbish even in their 50's, and even then, I find it utterly ridiculous.

It is not being fake if you put aside your anger on your sibling's special day. It is being considerate. That argument should not have even happened, if Chizoba was in control of things as the older sibling, but she is not.

It is different if your sibling is not present, Anita's siblings are not in the house, so, there is no basis for comparison. Ain't no way me and my sister will be in the house and we will be doing like this.

That is why I later said the issue is from home, and they need to sort it out. It's an ugly situation.

Career › Re: My Director Said My Facebook Posts Is A Mockery To His Establishment. by Munzy14(m): 6:56am On Sep 05, 2024
ntrukpum:
So, I am a graduate, B Eng Electrical/Electronic Engineering. I am a private school teacher, a married man, father of two kids, earning 40k monthly which comes irregularly, when it finally comes, it comes in different installments. I can't remember the last month I collected up to 20k at once, even after deducting my children school fees directly, every month, because my children also attend this school. I've not been paid for four months now. As a staff in the school, I pay 50% of the tuition fee for my kids. make use of the social media very well, I make posts almost everyday on my Facebook page through inspirations. I am always inspired by almost everything around me. Even the movement of ants can inspire me to make a post. I was inspired by something few days ago and I innocently made a post on my Facebook page. My director's wife commented on it. Few days later my Director saw the post and he immediately went to the school to the school Whatsapp platform and dropped this, claiming my post is mockery to the school. Please Nairalanders, what is wrong about my post?
Timing is important.

Connecting the time you posted your Inspiration and some things that are happening in the school, might be the reason why your boss saw nothing but Mockery.

Again, you can be Inspiring, but do you promote things about this your Job on your Social media timelines? Because whatever that is putting food on your table is the saviour you are seeing no matter how small.

Another thing is, people who feel they are smart have a way of being cunning. You will use your posts to Indirectly mock the hands/establishment you are benefiting from, then turn around to use reverse psychology to exonerate yourself.

Lastly, as an electrical engineer, I am worried you are just relaxed with just being a private school teacher. Hope you really had a practical experience of what you studied in school?.

Give yourself a push to growth as you are preaching. Move around your area in the evening, check houses under construction, meet the engineers handling them and market yourself for small contracts of wiring the house even if na 1room house under construction.. Stand up get busy.

Leave secondary school teaching that is deceiving you..And you sound lazy.
Na lazy people dey always post Unnecessary Inspiration wey no dey pay bills everyday.

Ones dey see small data.. lipsrsealed
Family › Re: I'm Contemplating Divorce After Two Years by Munzy14(m): 4:05pm On Sep 03, 2024
Successtube:
I never thought I’d find myself contemplating divorce just two years into my marriage. As a bachelor, I’d look at couples splitting up and wonder how they ended up there. Didn’t they date and get to know each other first? Didn’t they see the signs? And yet, here I am, standing on the brink of making the same decision. I dated my wife for a year and three months before we got married, and I thought I knew her. But I was wrong. She lied and pretended to be someone she wasn’t. Now, I’m starting to see who she truly is, and it’s tearing me apart.

Immediately after our wedding, I noticed changes in her that hadn’t been there before. One month in, we were not having sex like any newly married couple would. Every time I tried to be intimate, she’d have some excuse—a headache, feeling tired, or being stressed from work. I tried to be patient, thinking it was just a phase. But it didn’t end. When I finally asked her what was wrong, she bluntly told me she didn’t like sex. I was shocked. How could she not like sex? We had been intimate enough times while dating for me to believe otherwise.

“How can we have children if we don’t have sex?” I asked, trying to keep my frustration in check. Her response was indifferent, almost as if it didn’t matter. From then on, she’d sometimes only have sex with me during her ovulation period, like it was a chore to check off her list. It went on like this for over eight months, and I felt more and more disconnected. I felt unwanted, unloved. Every attempt to bridge the gap between us only seemed to widen it.

But the cracks didn’t just stop there. Through a relative of mine, I managed to get her a job that paid her 300,000 Naira monthly. She seemed happy, and I was glad I could help. Then, fate dealt me a blow—I lost my job. After months of searching, I managed to find another one, but it paid only 120,000 Naira a month. I couldn’t afford to stay home, so I took it, thinking it would just be temporary until I found something better.

My 120,000 Naira salary barely covers our expenses. I take care of the rent, food, bills, and still fuel my car to get to work. The one that hit me hardest was when our rent increased to 700,000 Naira around the same time my car’s engine gave out, needing another 500,000 Naira to repair. I felt the walls closing in on me. I was struggling, juggling all these financial burdens alone. I turned to my wife, thinking she’d step up and help. After all, she was earning more than double what I was. But all she could offer was 50,000 Naira.

I was speechless. She looked at me and said it was a man's duty to cater to his family, and she could only "assist." Her words felt like a slap. Here I was, drowning under the weight of our expenses, and she was holding back. I had to sell one of the lands I’d bought back in my bachelor days to cover the bills. I never thought I’d be in a position where I had to sell my hard-earned property just to survive while my wife, who I had helped get a better-paying job, stood by and watched.

The emptiness gnawed at me until I reached out to someone who had once filled a different kind of void in my life—my ex. We had broken up years ago because of distance when she moved to London for her studies. But we never really ended things on bad terms. There was always a "what if" lingering between us. Now, in my loneliness, that "what if" turned into late-night conversations, laughter, and the kind of warmth I hadn’t felt in a long time. I sneak out every now and then to be with her. I know it’s wrong. I know cheating is not the answer, but I felt like I was drowning, and she was the only one who could save me. With her, I felt alive again, seen, and heard. Things quickly escalated, and before I knew it, I was back in her arms. It felt like a betrayal of my marriage vows, but at the same time, it felt like the only way to reclaim a part of myself that had been lost.

I never imagined I’d be contemplating divorce, but here I am. I want to marry my ex. I want a fresh start, a chance to feel loved again. I don’t know if I can continue in a marriage where I feel more like a burden than a partner. Maybe it’s time to face the harsh truth: some people change, and some people never really were who they claimed to be. Maybe it’s time for me to choose my own happiness, to take a leap and start over.

Don't make the same mistake I made. Study your partner thoroughly before to married, don't rush!
My only advise is, be with a woman who really love you more than you love yourself...You will know life is easy when you meet such lady..

Na em be that favour you will obtain from the Lord.. cool

Some men marry for different reasons, yet cry in their lonely times because of shege wey madam dey serve them..🤣🤣🤣

If you make a mistake, start fresh.
