Sorry bro, I had a similar problem last year but this is what you have to do.
1. Is the police station u were detained a command or an outpost? If an out post just go straight to a higher police station like panti yaba, when u get there meet any top ranking police officer from ASP and above, explain d whole situation( don't add lies). Then tell him that you want the case moved from the station( where you were detained) to panti, they will charge you between 15-25k, you will file a petition which will be signed by the commissioner of police( once u have paid, they do everything for u). Then they will send a signal to the police station to bring the files, the engineer and the mr Julius( they are now suspects).

One advice, do not go to that police station again except u are willing to pay the engineer( because u will be detained and charged to court if they know what u are planning). You can call the IPO promising to pay the money while you make arrangements to transfer the case.

Posting my ordeal with the Nigerian Immigration officers here has actually shown me how myopic, insensitive and if i may say stupid that some Nigerians on this forum are, but likewise there are good, reasonable and supportive ones. I didnt raise any eyebrow nor fought with the officers like many here suggested but being a reasonable person i let things good its way. I was able to meet the immigration officers to know what was wrong and to my suprise, it was mere stupidity on the part of the officers on duty on the ill fated date i tried to travel, but now i am in Sweden. Any ways thanks to those reasonable guys here!

i got my passport back and the visa intact, the immigration officer said that u cant travel anymore or we will arrest you! i was really dumb founded because i havent done anything fishy nor go against immigration laws. How can u say its resemblance! i went to the embassy myself, had the interview, paid my fess and got the visa. even the airline i was ment to travel with had already taken my luggage. Its kind of unbelievable story, but its all true

Its not a fake visa or fake passport! I collected the passport, but was told that i wont travel. ı dont even understand why they are doing all these

Guys am kind of boiling with anger and desperation. i got a visa to study in one of the EU countries. i was about to travel, i took with me the admission letter, flight ticket and even Bta and to my surprise when i got to the airport, after the usual screening and obtaining boarding pass, ı was stopped by the immigration officers  and their reason being that i have a virgin passport. I told them yes that it is a virgin passport and am about to disvirgin it, I even try to sort out, they collected the money and withheld my passport, I missed the flight and couldn'tget my passport. What do u suggest i do!
