Poems For Review / Art Of God by MusaAbdulgafar(m): 12:10pm On Sep 19, 2015
Whenever I doubt
The existence
Of the Lord
Anytime I forget
What God
Is all about
I just look here
On where we are

To see
How vastless
Is the land mass
Round up by seas
On it are greens
And colourful desert
With flowers and gentle winds
Through the birds sing
Melodies of eulogy

To feel
How terrifying
The sweats and tears
The struggles and cryings
Are amidst of fear
For animals or vampires
Spill stains of bloody wine
From their throats

I raise my eyes
Up over there
To the sky
When sun rises

To feel
How hotless
Sunbeat heats
To burn white skins
With its face

To see
How helpless
Sunshine beats
With its beams
Dry the fallen bricks
To rise their spirits

And I wake up
In the dark
Of night

To feel and see
How ugly and heartless
Is the darkness
With its whirl, cold and black skin

It's wild or weird
To see
How beauty
Of the night
With its cool breeze
Still blessed with
Stars and moonlight

I meet
How mighty
Is the Lord
With His signs
On the earth
And in the sky

If not
In my chest
Through the sound
From His throat
My world is dead
From my oblivion
I return

Anytime I wish
If only He wants
When time comes
For me to know
Who is God[/b]Whenever I doubt

i wonder why why we Nigerians think like that. We clamoured for change and here it is but still we are complaining. Let us leave Pmb out of this matter and allow CCT to do their job.

llaykorn:

He did not sing, not a word, Silent stance all we heard, Condemnation echoed round, Pressing pack start to hound.
Why should we to God request? Special treatment, our behest, Exclusive rights for royal line, Petitioning this God divine.
Rather sing to help the poor, Lift them up, treat the sore, Give them succour, hungry feed, These are truly those in need.
Greedy graspers, golden crown, Covered in an ermine gown, Needle’s eye for camel grand, Expecting aid from Godly hand.
