Gweneth Lee, claims to have had affairs with greater than 100 married males over the past decade – three quarters of whom had mother and father who had cheated.

A Nigerian woman who fraudulently obtained over £114,000 from a local council in the UK, has been handed a two-year jail sentence.

The 49-year-old mother of three identified as Olusola Owoeye, rented out an apartment she bought with fraudulent mortgage while claiming she was homeless, to get a flat given out by a local council. She was nabbed after one of her tenants she charged as much as £820 a month made a complaint at the council.

The Nigerian woman arrived the UK in 2002 and reportedly bought her house with a fraudulent mortgage application. She was able to buy a house in Erith, south-east London for £156,000 in June 2008 while claiming she was working in the software industry and earning £41,000 a year.

The prosecutors told the court that Owoeye moved out of the house she bought four years later, lived with a friend for some time before approaching the Bexley Council in 2013 for support, claiming to be homeless.

Owoeye who obtained over £114,000 in five years with a status which does not allow an immigrant to access the mainstream benefits system, homelessness assistance from a local authority or social housing, is thought to be the first person in London to be convicted of fraud after receiving payments while under ‘no recourse to public funds’ (NRPF) immigration status.

Justice Jonathan Mann who presided over the case, found her guilty of three charges of fraud following a four-day trial at Woolwich Crown Court last month. She was subsequently handed a two-year jail sentence.

Justice Mann said;

‘There is only one reason you did what you did and this is because you are greedy. For you this was money for nothing.’

While officials are now investigating the Nigerian woman’s right to remain in the UK upon being released from prison, it was further gathered that she might have to sell her home to pay back Bexley Council in south-east London.

The Senate on Wednesday urged the Nigeria Police to investigate, arrest and prosecute the killers of Professor Jerome Elusiyan of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile Ife.
The upper chamber also called on the Federal Government to prioritize security for day-to-day lives and property of Nigerians in the upcoming festivities.

This is at the same time the Senate observed a minute peace and quiet in honour of the late Prof. Elusiyan who according to the Senate, died in active service to the fatherland.

The resolutions of the Senate adopted a motion on a matter of emergency national importance moved by Senator Francis Fadahunsi, on the unfortunate kill of the late Elusiyan by unidentified gunmen in Iruekpen,Edo State.

Fadahunsi who came under order 42 and even 52 of the Senate Standing Rules, said that Prof. Jerome Elusiyan, some sort of professor of Pediatrics and baby health; and Chairman, Medical Advisory Council of OAU Teaching Hospital, was attacked and killed with December 13, 2019, at Iruekpen, Esan West Local Government Area, on his way to Benin City, Edo State.

Ming-Chi Kuo, the renowned Apple analyst, has briefed about iPhone 2021 to investors today. According to him, Apple might offer a completely wireless iPhone in 2021 by removing the lightning port.
However, there will be only one variant (most likely the highest priced) of the iPhone that will be without a lightning port.

He has also mentioned that Apple might launch five different iPhones in 2020, and four of the iPhones will have OLED displays.

Apple is planning to launch two 6.7-inch iPhones, one 6.1-inch iPhone, and a small-sized 5.4-inch iphone. All these iPhones will feature 5G connectivity as well.

The fifth iPhone, according to Kuo, will be iPhone SE 2 with a 4.7-inch LCD, and it’ll be launched in the first half of 2020.

Kuo also mentioned that Apple would launch an iPhone SE 2 Plus in 2021, but it will feature TouchID and not FaceID for authentication.

When it comes to predictions about iPhone, Ming-Chi Kuo is reliable, and he sources his information from Apple’s supply chain, which further makes him a credible source.

The Apple analyst hasn’t mentioned the pricing of the due iPhones, but the lineup suggests that Apple wants to target every segment by launching a budget iPhone in the form of iPhone SE 2 and other iPhone 12 variants.

Twitter will begin deleting accounts that have been inactive for more than six months, unless they log in before an 11 December deadline, the company has confirmed.

The cull will include users who stopped posting to the site because they died – unless someone with that person’s account details is able to log-in.

Twitter said it was because users who do not log-in were unable to agree to its updated privacy policies.

A Twitter spokeswoman also said it would improve credibility by removing dormant accounts from people’s follower counts, something which may give a user an undue sense of importance. The first batch of deleted accounts will involve those registered outside of the US.

The firm bases inactivity on whether or not a person has logged in at least once in the past six months. Twitter said the effort is not, as had been suggested by some users on the network, an attempt to free up usernames.

That said, previously unavailable usernames will start coming up for grabs after the 11 December cut-off – though Twitter said it would be a gradual process, beginning with users outside of the US.

In future, the firm said it would also look at accounts where people have logged in but don’t “do anything” on the platform. A spokeswoman would not elaborate, other to say that the firm uses many signals to determine genuine human users – not just whether they interact with, or post, tweets.

The cull will not affect Twitter’s reported user numbers, as the firm bases its usage level only on users who log-in at least once a day. According to its latest earnings report, from September, Twitter has 145m “monetisable” daily active users (users who come into contact with Twitter’s advertising on a daily basis).

“As part of our commitment to serve the public conversation, we’re working to clean up inactive accounts to present more accurate, credible information people can trust across Twitter,” Twitter said about the upcoming account removals.

“Part of this effort is encouraging people to actively log-in and use Twitter when they register an account, as stated in our inactive accounts policy.”

It means users who have died will have their accounts removed unless a loved one or other person is already in possession of their log-in details, and is able to sign in and accept Twitter’s latest privacy policy.

Twitter’s current policy offers only deactivation of a dead person’s account once a trusted third-party – a parent, for example – has proven their identity. However, the policy states that in no circumstances would Twitter grant access to the account, which would prevent deletion.

The firm does not, unlike Facebook, offer a “memorialisation” option that freezes the account in place and disallows new interactions – a measure to prevent abuse.

Affected users began receiving these emails from Tuesday.
