Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard became the latest high-profile Englishmen to move to Major League Soccer this summer when they joined New York City and Los Angeles Galaxy respectively. Former Reds star David Beckham also moved Stateside in 2007 when he left Real Madrid to play in California with the Galaxy. Given that he has four years left on his contract at Old Trafford, Rooney is not currently considering where his future lies beyond United. But when that time comes, the 29-year-old says a move across the Atlantic will be among his considerations. "I'm obviously concentrating on Manchester United," Rooney said in an interview with the Seattle Times during his side's pre-season tour. "When that time comes, that'll be something I'd think about. (I'll) sit down with my wife and children and decide if it would be right for me." MORE>>> http://www.naijaplay.co.uk/2015/07/wayne-rooney-says-he-will-consider-move.html

Name: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Date of birth: 18/06/89 Born: Laval, north west France Club: Borussia Dortmund Position: Forward International: 39 Gabon caps, 16 goals (correct as of 11/05/15) What's the latest? He is also able to play in a wide role. 2) Having come through the youth ranks at Milan in 2008, Aubameyang was loaned to Dijon, Lille, Monaco and then St Etienne in his native France. He joined the latter permanently in 2011 and signed for Dortmund two years later. In his final season in Ligue 1 he scored 19 goals in 37 games. 3) He's known for his goal celebrations in Germany and as well as frequent summersaults, he has also donned a Spiderman mask as well as a Batman one, with team-mate Marco Reus as Robin. 4) Although he was born in France and played for the U21 side, Aubameyang plays for Gabon, whom his father, Pierre, played for. 5) He idolised former Brazil striker Ronaldo, though he does have a tattoo that reads: “Crespo for life”. Of Ronaldo he said: “He was dynamic, strong in the air, technically-gifted, fast - a giant of a player” READ MORE>> http://naijaplaysoccer..com/2015/05/liverpool-transfer-news-spotlight-on.html

However, club owner Claudio Lotito is not prepared to sell De Vrij this summer, and the 23-year-old centre-back - who has been sidelined for several weeks through injury - is adamant that his future does not depend on whether Lazio qualify for next season's Champions League. "I'm happy at Lazio and I'll still be here next year," he told Fox Sports. "I hope to play in the Champions League with this shirt, but that doesn't determine my future. If we don't qualify, it wouldn't change anything - I want to stay here. "Here in Rome, I've learned a lot and become a better defender. I'm really happy with the choice I made."
