After your premedical year i.e. 100level, some of you guys in medicine would be dropped ..... Everybody most definitely cannot make it to 200level medicine. As at last last year, the criteria was a cgpa of 3.0 and having not more than 2Ds in the 17 courses...
There is also a transfer for 20 best BMS students. So when you are about to start 200level, the best 10 students in anatomy and the 10 best students in physiology will be transferred to medicine.

The top 20 losers in medicine would then be transferred to BMS to fill up the spaces left by the 20 BMS students that got medicine.
For example, if 30 students drop in medicine, the best 20 among them will be given Anatomy n physiology.. The other 10 would have to go to other science departments that are ready to take them in...maybe zoology or plant biology....

To cross, you have to be really serious, the standard is really increasing. There are rumours that people with 2Ds might not even cross this year unlike how it has always been. We also heard the crossing criteria for BMS is now 2.5 instead of the 2.0 they were using.

The criteria to cross to 200level nursing is a cgpa of 2.5 and having No F... If you are in nursing and you have 4.7, but a F in Phy191(1 unit course), you are going nowhere...

I will advice that all of you in medicine strive hard for 4points i.e. at least a B in all your courses....
Unilorin medical school can be crazy.. They drop people even in 500level... so dropping someone in 100level is like child play to them..

Here in abu,u must clear ur 20courses wit a minimum of c(which x very risky,cause all ur coursemates might hv dat c).
And there's no room 4,switching to mbbs.d only alternative is 2 write jamb again,nd changing ur name 2 avoid been caught unless u wil b withdrawed.

i've neva cum across any scene like that,bt it has a slight resemblence wit ma place at home.
Some men dressed in black wit guns(like robbers),came 2 kill a man(hu i wasn't able 2 see in d dream),nd afta killing him,they resulted in d destrution of life nd properties.
I saw families crying,injured victims.It was a horrible scene.

Both Indian and others. You heard me right- Indian books.
-You can have Vasudevan, Charteajea , Sembulimgam , Harsh Mogan all in clean soft copy.
So drop your mails while I find start work.

May I use this time to say that as a medical student, a tablet is a must-have. You need it. If you have money, buy an iPad, bcause the battery life is flawless. The iPad 4 has a battery capacity of over 11,000 mah. If you're just using it to read without browsing, you could go for 4days without charge.

If you don't have money so much, buy a good tablet with a decent battery life. Tecno pads have decent battery life. Samsung too.

With a tablet you can have so many books at your disposal. Instead of buying one book and being limited, you can have as many as 4. It gives you an advantage over ur peers. And best if all, you can read anywhere.
