Jobs/Vacancies / The Scale Of Fraud In Nigeria Civil Defence by muzari: 11:35pm On Feb 07, 2016
I never wanted to write this, but forced to, I could not understand whether the fight against corruption is actually yielding any result.
A brother of mine called me about two weeks ago demanding help of #250,000.00, he claimed that a replacement exercise is on going in Nigeria Civil Defence, the amount is needed to "sort" the personnel in charge of the recruitment through proxy. I asked him to call the person that is demanding for the money and place the call on conference, I was able to record the conversations as the person from my deduction was not aware of the conference call.
After the call, i directed him to go for the Appointment letter since he said the money will be paid only on the receipt of the letter. I was thinking how to handle the situation when I received another call from a working class friend of mine, he informed me that his cousin need #300,000.00 to sort for Nigeria Civil Defence job, he prayed for me to borrow him#200,000.00 or #150,000.00 to pay back in 4 months, he said I should help by all means, expressing that it could be the last opportunity for the young cousin.
I narrated my experience as related to my brother's case, I advised that we should do something about it instead of paying. He stood in negation, claiming that it is a usual practice in Nigeria expecially in Abuja, that I should never bother myself that nothing will happen. He said, in his cousin's case he went to the Defence Head Quarter to be sure of who is dealing with, assuring me that the deal is known my the Ogas there. I was actually speechless

Follow Nairalanders, what should I do having the audio record of the conversation?

This is a serious issue, I need serious advice please as the deadline is this week Friday
Family / Re: Why You Should Be Careful In Choosing Your Next Of Kin (Photos) by muzari: 10:57am On Jan 26, 2016
I think we seriously need to be educated on this matter, I don't actually have much time to elucidate, but let me just summarise. It could just be that the family went to the Bank to ask for the account details without Letter of Administration, so it is normal that the Bank ask for who it is that is the next of Kin and they possibly tried to react.
"Nest Of Kin is Inconsequential Where Letter Of Administration Is Issued By The Court". Thank you

Politics / Why Dasuki Should Not Be Freed Now by muzari: 6:29pm On Dec 25, 2015
I am never in support of continuous detention of any citizen for some reason, but in the case of Dasuki I will for some reasons:
1. Dasuki's background as military intelligent with a lot of international connection, those who understand security dynamics can explain better
2. Ready to spill the beans attitude of the man no matter whose, the little boys here won't understand the meaning of caution in revelations because even if they were lies, it might never be redeemed
3. His freedom to meet some heavy individuals may cause some justice, security and agitation commotion
4. The security guru could be assassinated by some prospective culprits if released now
Government need to be wise anyway
Politics / Bayelsa Elections, The Reality by muzari: 11:12pm On Dec 09, 2015
This is a fact and an eye witness account and the reality is that we can not continue like this. In total truth we have long way to go, we are far far away from the track if at all we know our track. Our ship of moral upright, sense of logic and reasoning is directly reaching a huge rock of destruction. And untill revert and change our way, it shall hit the rock.
The only reason for a victory in elections to be for the highest bidder can only be lack of straightness in thinking and deformative poverty situation on the part of the electorates. On the part of party and its candidate, i lack word(s) to describe it.
On the 5th December, 2015., we all troop out to cast our vote in Bayelsa State, but the entire situation ended up to be a game of which party pay higher. Both APC and PDP came out to bribe people to vote for them. In Yenagoa area for instance, APC agent started by offering #3,000 to each APC voter. On noticing the trend, PDP up the amount to #5,000. I am categorically telling the fact of what happened on the election day, anyone can confirm this from anybody from Yenagoa. The bribe went as high as #10,000 to #15,000 in LGA like Sagbama, Nembe and Ekeremoh.
Note: It was so perfectly arranged that a particular agent is close to the ballot box, he signals the payer and direct the payee to catch his/her money pointing in the direction of the payer.
I placed calls to friends in other LGAs, i bet you it was thesame practise through out the State.
The big Q is: Are we not facing destruction and how exactly did we get here?
Politics / Bayelsa Election, APC In Early Lead by muzari: 5:57pm On Dec 05, 2015
Results from Okaka and Kpansia Area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital city, APC assume early lead in all the polling units. However PDP captured some units in Agudama area of the state. We will keep you updated
