Sincerely, not everyone can afford Lithium at a go, but my worry is the way these Tubular now flood our market. It leaves something to be worried about.

If not exaggerating, there'll be over 200 different brands of these Tubulars available in Nigeria currently and that's where a lot would simply sink there hard earned money on thrash.

I also started with 2 pcs used Sealed Lead Acid battery few years back before I tried assembling a small Lithium battery for myself and currently see those LA batteries as simply waste of money.

So my honest opinion is people going for these Tubulars should reach for reputable brands to effectively enjoy their invested worth.

There's no how you can enjoy a used sealed lead acid battery cos you don't know how it was used, it might have only 20-30% efficiency left, to enjoy Lead acid you have to buy it brand New from reputable brand

Boss, even with large bank, lead acid battery can still be properly charged and managed very well.
Once you get the basic things right, every other thing takes care of itself.
This issue of comparing LA battery with the Lfp has been discussed extensively some years back in this forum.
George_D has large LA battery bank and he has used it for about 6 years then. Maybe, it's up to 10 years now.
He's one of the founder of this forum and I really learned from his knowledge and I'll always appreciate him.

Also I noticed my batteries sometimes shows 26v (supposedly charged state) but it would not take a long time before it gets to about 23.5, the inverter alarm kicks off and then shuts down.. Does it mean it's just showing 26v but not charged and therefore not strong enough? My load is always below 10% so I guess the load is below 500watts (since inverter capacity is 5kva)..

I just want to be sure if it's more panels I need or if the battery is misbehaving.. Thanks

From the sticker you posted, the panel might be relabelled, your 400w might be 300w and it's better to contact a professional to mount your panels so you don't damage it or fry your Cc

I'm considering adding 2 more pcs of 400W panels to it if that's what it would take to have a good charge on a daily basis. So far, I haven't been satiefied with the results. I have 2 12v 200ah Quanta batteries.. I particularly went for quanta at a higher price because I learnt it was better. I'm worried because my neighbor's system stays way longer than mine.. I guess cos I just installed mine and perhaps it's not charged.. Note: Neighbor has 3.5kva 24v setup with 2 12v 200ah felicity battery, while I have 5kva 24v setup with 2 12v 200ah quanta battery. I want to max out my options to determine if the batteries are the culprit so that I can return them ASAP.. Thanks everyone

Your batteries are ok, the issue is your panel, are you sure they are of real capacity?

using solar panel of 200w and above on a 12-volts system doesn't really work well. it's OKAY managing it that way if you have plans adding more panels later.

Now that your charge controller na toy abeg. whenever buying a charge controller, e specially if it's PWM, always aim for anywhere 50amps and above.

Most of those PWM charge controllers are overrated, also when the sun comes out well and the solar panel starts generated more output, some would be tripping OFF & ON. You easily could tell that from the Solar Panel indicator on the charge controller.

Let's equally not forget solar panel positioning - we have no idea how and where it was mounted

Get the 48v 5,376kwh lithium battery from Valto and 3.5kva 48v Felicity hybrid inverter.
When you have fun, replace the ox fan with an energy saving fan. The performance will still be the same.

Just be ready to replace your battery soon.

So many things could easily go wrong. Too much charging current on any day you decide to turn off your inverter, also You would most likely overdraw current at nights given the size of your inverter.

My first advice is you double the battery bank.
Secondly, a 60amps charger with a 24v system would have been better and probably cost same or just a little more than what you will be spending in total. Like smaller cable Guage, cheaper breaker etc.

Just keep in mind that whatsoever you have in mind will be different from what is achievable on renewable energy except you've got deep pockets

Plus I would have advised you got a lifepo4 battery, as it tolerates more abuse. Just make sure you turn off the system as soon as your battery voltage gets below 12.0v on small loads. The inverter you got is not optimal for lead acid as it won't cut off until battery voltage drops below 10.5v so you've got to really monitor your system

Why would he replace his battery soon when you don't know his load? You talking about too much charge current, what's the work of the mppt CC Bad advise tho

Your tv is more than my freezer of 115w, if not for start up surge they would be equivalent. Save up to buy used LED 32" tv of 50w at max settings.Normal setting is just 36w.
