@Tvegas you need to think before writing not just post whatever comes to your mind. First, did you not read that I am sick and will write the poe story later? Second, you think every poe story can be summarised into 4 lines? Third, I could just come up here and say thanks to everyone. Say I have been a silent reader just like many people do here and then ask my question and no one would ever know I hard a poe story to share. So the fact that I mentioned it means I am willing to give back.

I won't even let you spoil my joy of feeling a bit better these days. Please just try to think before you post always.

@PetMe13, It doesn't cost anything to be nice, and I don't think it's necessary to come here spitting venom and asking Tvegas to "think"...If you are too unwell to recount your experience, it would have been sufficient to just explain that instead of going on the offensive. Also, when you keep stating that you've actually done good by mentioning that you have a POE experience to share, it doesn't do anyone good except cause those traveling soon to freak out.

The time you spent being nasty to Tvegas might as well been spent sharing your POE experience...

Anyhow, I hope you feel better soon....

I am not struggling O! I posted that comment because of the member quoted below who related similar ordeal a week ago and never showed up again to educate us on why she was deported at the Point of entry. Whether you like it or not ,a little seed of fear was sown in my mind with that post. So if i beg this new poster to clarify her "Terrible Point Of Entry Experience" is it bad? If She took 8 lines to introduce herself ,explain her circumstance and asked for excel sheet and i thought she could also spare 4 lines to summarise her POE experience. Is it too much to ask?.

Besides, the Genomi sharing excel sheet with everyone, has she gone through the Point of entry herself? Isn't it fair if i say they should exchange some information?. Finally i already prostrated and begged the woman in advance incase she finds my comment offensive, because I can be very wrong,I am not always right. Cheers

Personally I just thought the story didn't make sense because if she allegedly was deported last month at 28 weeks, she cant have possibly travelled this month at 38 weeks......

Good morning tvegas. No I don't agree with u, so I waka pass the question and never insulted her 4 asking. My write up was nt to provide an answer to d question bt to make people who see insulting people has their hobby to stop( u ve also advised the house on this issue b4). Even if this is a class then it sud be an adult class and I believe nobody has the right to insulted anyone that asked a question. We re not children here abeg. Tvegas Dats the difference.

Asking people to read is not insulting them, and even though people want to share information and help each other, it at times becomes annoying to keep going through the same questions and issues which have been discussed over and over again. Someone has suggested ignoring such questions, but at times people just need to be told the truth.

Those who have the time and energy can keep answering, but those repetitive questions are very annoying, to say the least. What's so hard about going through the thread? Anyhow, maybe that's left for the rest of us who seemingly have nothing better to do with our lives....

@Tvegas, I really do not want to get into these arguments just wanted to clear the air for those intending to use them. Mellissa and Rodolfo both work in the admin section of the Clinic, Rodolfo is the Director of Admissions. Just like every other clinic in the US, there are people in charge admin and records, the doctors are also on site as well.

By the way, its not a big hospital like you mentioned but a clinic and if they decide to report those not turning up, I guess its their business.

Now, the signing issue might be something they might need to change going forward. But if you ask me or anyone who has been there, they are not middle men.

Back to silent mode. Cheers

@nenih, I'm sorry but you are denying the obvious...They are agents and I totally agree with Tvegas.

Their Letter of Responsibility states thus (in Spanish): Doctores Para Ti somos el enlace con tu doctor especializado (on the letter head). This in English translates to: We are the link to your specialized doctor.

Now, why would a doctor's office refer themselves as a link to your doctor This in addition to the issues raised above by Tvegas and especially the question as to why not send the letter under Eastside Women Health Center.

Anyhow, everyone is free to believe what they want to believe. No one is saying there is anything wrong with them, but just the fact that they are agents and not doctors.

Na wa o.

Can we say Doctores Para Ti or Del So Medical Centre doesn't exists? No.

My brain may be overworking but I think what has happened is that plenty people, I mean very very plenty have carried the Doctores Para Ti letter to go (just pay 150 dollars and viola!) and get Visas at the embassy (pregnant or not) and then did something else or went somewhere else with those visas. I may be right or wrong. As a result, they VOs don see the Doctores Para To letter finish and it has started vexing them.

Anywayz, e be like say that road don spoil finish. Na to go find alternative hospitals for people that want to apply in furture cos it's looking like a 50-50 things to get visas with their letter of responsibility. Seeking visas is not an experience someone should be doing kalo kalo with.

@beautyx5 @Adebunny I will also be staying at Intown Suites and looking to get in by 2nd week in November. May God support and guide our plans to fruition. Amen

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you as I don't see a connection between people using Doctores Para Ti's letter for visa and then heading elsewhere and the visa denial discussed above. The VO was very clear that Doctores Para Ti is not a doctor's office, which anyone who has used them or read about them should already know. They are simply agents linking up patients with Del So Medical Centre, and probably getting a commission or benefitting in some other way through these referrals. This is what the VO seems to have had an issue with. Nowhere was it alleged that they do not exist. For anyone yet to go for their interview, try and get in touch with a doctor and get an appointment letter from them as well as a quotation for their services.

Hopefulme, get in touch with a doctor and reapply. I don't see you having any issues getting the visa.

Pls dear mamas in the house...dis thread is meant to be helpful and I think that is why we re all here...we thank and appreciate those mamas that has been giving vital info and am sure it has helped a lot of pple like me...but its getting to a point whereby one get scared to ask question...pls let's be calm with each others and I think if some pple find it difficult to read and ask repeated questions...d best thing is to ignore if u can't answer or refer d person to a page if u can, rather than all dis gururu and epa things..its sounds like jest to me" if u ignore a question or answer by saying "read all over"..its ok
And for d person dat said she was sent back and her visa was cancelled...we shld av at least let her explain her own part and if its same with all d lies dats leads to refusal...pple can keep reading and learning from pple like her..
A proffessional today was once a learner and YES that's it..let's give room to be friendly with ourselves cos we might need help from someone outta here and we don't knw who dat cld be...thankx all...I stand to be corrected if dere is need for it...

I agree that the thread is meant to be helpful, but surely, why should people keep asking questions that have been discussed time and again? it's only fair that people go through the thread and then ask for clarification or questions on information that they cannot find on the thread. It gets boring seeing the same questions each and every day. Anyone who is seriously seeking info should be able to read, and asking people to refer them to specific pages means that we should go back searching the thread just to direct them to the right page? I think that's expecting too much.
