Thank you sir, this is exactly what we are trying to unravel. Anthony munachi okeke have been defrauding people here since using nwamabo247's video. In an attempt to silence the real owner of the video, a moderator just banned him till year 2030 so that Anthony m okeke will continue unhindered.

Mr. Seun, it seems that a lot is going on on your forum.
Is there anything your members should know on how to protect themselves? What are you doing in order to curb the amount of fraud going on here?
This is a great big place. But as always, a few bad eggs can ruin a lot.

That person who claimed, he is a DSS officer because he brought out picture of somebody is a scammer.

When did DSS start investigating common fraud on nairaland?

Soon people will line up to report cases to that fake DSS officer while he charges money for investigation.

Another scam waiting to happen.

Corruption, Fraud, Theft, and injustice is for all of us to fight. If members of the girls guide association or Red Cross society find something useful they pass on the message to relevant authorities.

It seems you're a silly person. I haven't asked for money or for people to communicate with me. My posts have mentioned that the administrators of this site should allow people post their transactions with fraudsters.. So that others will avoid them. And if they wish, they proceed to physically tender their complaints with evidence to anybody, either army, dss, bank security, nscdc, inec, OR anybody.. And the case will be forwarded to the appropriate channel and the vilians will be dealt with.

Last December I and my team left Abuja to Kebbi over a stolen phone. Yes. A phone. You don't know what the work of the dss is or not just keep quiet and move away unless you plan to get yourself in trouble.

With just that scammer's email and phone number, we know where he is even as of this hour. But we can't do nothing unless there's a proper complaint with evidence.. Then we follow due process and channel cases to the appropriate bodies. Wetin concern FRSC with yahoo boys? But it is all of our duties to ensure a saner Nigeria... EVEN YOU. It is your duty. So don't make posts that will discourage people from reporting thieves. Why will I charge nairaland members money to investigate a case of 2k fraud? How much will I charge him? Do you know how much I earn every month?
How will you say I'm investigating "common nairaland fraud", this is just childish and I lack the words to describe you. I am a member of this forum and everything related to my occupation concerns me.

Kindly refrain from involving yourself in dangerous situations. If you like, take somebody's 500 NAIRA and let them come to me physically with evidence, and see if it is dss job to investigate theft or not.

If you're scammed of 200 naira, it is in the law of this country to report and expose those criminals and they will be jailed. If we continue to pamper them and keep quiet, from stealing 200 naira they'll learn to steal your millions.

Be wise.

Can anybody confirm if he looks exactly like this?

We have details of 2 men connected to the above details.

Same exact name. Dwells somewhere in Rivers State and Abia Nigeria. We won't be precise with the details but we have the two marked out.

One of them looks like this guy below. We're processing the second collection of pictures which will lead us to a proper investigation.. That is, if anyone comes to us with useful information and evidence.

Even if he owes you 500 naira, he will be arrested for fraud.

Seun and the other moderators, this is a DSS officer typing. We have received several complaints from Nigerians losing their money to this same man, so kindly pretend you didn't see this post, and allow his victim identify him, lodge a complain, and allow us arrest him.

Can anybody identify this man below?

Kindly send me the link to where your details appears on the scammers list

I noticed the moderators hide certain posts of revealed scammers. I picked up interest in a case this morning as an officer of the law, and before I could realize what is happening, the particular thread where the "suspect" was being exposed has been deleted. By the moderators of course.

Mr. Seun, I have always known you to be a humble hardworking man. When people are shut down from exposing those who have taken their money via this platform, you and your other administrators enable such villains and fraudsters to carry on defrauding people... Since they can easily use the "report" button and such threads or posts will be pulled down.

We have reached out to some of these complainants through mail and we have pieces of evidence that support their claims. The only problem is that on this forum these criminals will always succeed because they can report people's posts and carry on with stealing and deceiving other people, and this is a bad name for your business. I ask that you personally review some of these posts especially in this business section.. Before pulling anything down. Please do not alter justice and evidence. It's all I ask.

I serve with the dss IT unit and a quick run on the details you have provided, reveals Mr. Kalu's personal details. Including residence in Rivers and Abia States Nigeria. We also have his personal images and documents.

With sufficient evidence, members of nairaland can bring such people (if guilty) to justice by reporting to relevant authorities as such cases are cases of fraud, and can be measured along with "yahoo" and cyber crime.

You can continue to warn the public against fraudsters especially when you have reasonable evidence. But in case you have something real that you want to push forward, you can get justice when you report to the relevant authorities even though it's a matter of 500 naira.
