ironheart:
Bros you are going to regret changing all of those. Please n please, change the engine. Cos you will end up paying more in the long run.

Buy complete same type of engine inside. Dont let them deceive you
Thanks Bro, for the advice.
That would be my take on a normal day, but for the present situation. Money plenty for hand and the car needs to work.
I hope this repair will make the car serve me for close to another nine months , then I can go for engine replacement

Thanks for your response sir.
The engine was not knocked before embarking on repair
The crankshaft-metals replacement cost 25k while engine is being considered for around 100k.
Country sweet for now.
I will consider the recommendation as regards engine oil

Good evening house
Please I have seen several comments of experts on Nairaland and I felt I could ask you some questions about volvo .
I wish to know if Oando Oleum SL is okay to service my 1998 Volvo S40 T4 (turbo) or any other low cost you would like to recommend.
I bought it in October last year not taking note of engine already giving way to Metals-crankshaft clearance.
I have been using carefully, not revving too much, hoping to deal with it soon. It later developed issue with fuel system seizure causing engine stops while idling. The person I bought it from claimed he wasn't using it regularly. With some DIY on fuel pump and filters, it improved but not totally resolved.
I have been managing it but unfortunately, my wife had to drive it for some days within which the fuel system failure set in. Her own thought of overcoming that challenge was giving the car good firing at idles. You know the rest of the story.
I was not around and she had to call me when the engine stop was too frequent. I was very sceptical about letting unverified mech work on it but had to bring in my Mazda mech when the need to work on fuel system was dearly needed. He resolved that but called me while attempting to return it to my wife that the engine would not last another day if continually driven.
Now, the replacement of crankshaft and bearings is ongoing and there is need for me to decide which engine oil to use and that's where your advice is needed.
It is worthy to note here that the car was serviced 13 days ago and the fault occurred 7 days ago. I found Oando Oleum SL keg inside the car when I bought it and decided to continue with it and so I kept the label. I had wanted to buy the oil myself but somehow I couldn't till the servicing was done. Unfortunately, the person that carried out the servicing bought Oleum super, not giving attention to SL. The oil had already been used before I discovered too. I have a feeling that contributed to the problem.
Kindly advise

Let's look at it this way
"because" in this context explains the action of the sentence.
The action of the sentence is someone beating the other.
Now the reason "being drunk" explains why the action "beating" was carried out by "who?"..... the mother!!!
So, the mother was the one drunk

Butressing, If the daughter were to be the one drunk, the sentence should have been presented as
"A mother beat her daughter for being drunk"

I need a 1997 Tokunbo Toyota Corolla. How much can I get it?

Thanks for ur reply.
However, my budget is 600K max and what I need is a Toyota Corrolla.
Mazda 323 or Nissan Almera may be considered as last option.
What chance do you think I stand with my budget
