please I need help to re-install OS XP on my mini HP laptop. It has no CD Rom and on the BIOS, it has no provissio to boot from USB device, i would hav try installing via an external cd rom. The only bootable options are Hard Drive and Network.

please how do i boot via a network to install windows xp on this machine?

I think it's natural to expect a woman to get pregnant after wedding. my fears is how healthy are women around that age to bear the stress of pregnancy. I stll have a choice now before it's too late. I have been hearing stories about women around that age with one health proble or the other when they are pregnant.

pls how safe is it for a lady to be pregnant at age 34 and above? I am considering getting maried to a 34yrs old lady but i'm afraid of how safe it would when she gets pregnant...i don't want anything to do with cessarian operation.

I access the routers quick setup page using PPPoE and inserted my username and pass gotten from starcomms but it refused to connect. I noticed that the page only have provision for LAN, WAN and WIRELESS but I expected it should also have for USB modems but it is missing. could this be the reason it failed to connect?

hello pls i need help with the following networking challenge;

on a wireless network via an access point and a router, a system is configured as a server from which other clients can acces the network printer which is shared on the server.

The problem is this;

I have windows xp and windows7 on the systems

I have created the workgroup and name all the system as they should be

I can print from the server

But I cannot see the server nor any other system on the network from any of the systems including the server

Pls note that the workgroup name are all thesame on all the systems and i have turned on all neccessary sharing on those that runs windows7

I need to make the server see other systems and others too to see the server so each clients system can access the printer installed on the server.

it is a wireless connection, no cable at all.

You can't use it on home network cos you are not using a server OS on your network. Even if you are using a server OS, these applications require seat licences which you don't have. So, continue scouring for it in computer village.

note: i have 4 systems on which peachtree were installed but i had to format one of them but when i tried to re-install it on the formatted machine, i discovered the cd was corrupted and could no longer be used for installation and all the ones i bought at computer village are not good. so i guess it could be possible to use it via the network.
