It was a bright day for us all as our camping days was coming to an end we where all gathered in the auditorium getting lectures on security tips,how to make distress call,how to behave in the environment,the dos and don,t in the land depending on where u are been posted to do your PPA. Corpers where so happy cos soon there will be no more 5am bigle sound wake up call,no more soldjer bullying ,no more boring lectures,no man o war wahala and etc plus it was our camp fire night that day so corpers where all excited that tonight is going to be fun and rocking. All platoons are meant to cook for there platoons and present little of your different variety of foods to the camp officials so they can have a taste of what we coojed then you can have the rest to yourself to eat and have fun. so we agreed to pay 500 naira each and if u can do better no problem, I allowed Ruth my platoon assistant to be in charge cos money wahala I no dey like am, I contributed 5k leading by example publicly and before you know it people started showing ego and pride, one guy came out he said his name is chucks and am giving my platoon8 #10000 people started clapping and before u know it competition don start ooo another guy 10k then one lady called mamaG gave us 10k another 5k and so on, 0ne guy Francis from imO state came out and donate 20k people started shouting clapping and hailing him to the amazement of all other platoons that what is platoon8 up to again. we where able to raise over a#100,000 plus adding the #500 and #1000 contributed by other members of the platoon, i was so glad we could achieve that height so I called Ruth and told her to return my 5k back to me she was shock as i told her it was only a strategy to make people turn up for payment she laughed ehn and said mykel haaaa, she refused ooo but promise to return back if we finished all our expenses and we have left over.
