gozzlin:

'Biko welu ya nwayoo' is Anambra dialect, in standard Igbo it's 'Biko Were ya nwayoo.' It means: Please take it easy. Or Abeg take am easy. grin

Thank you!! cheesy And the last word which is typed as 'wayaka' (but maybe it should be spelled differently?), what is that?

Please can someone tell me which language this is, and what it means?? It's from a Yemi Alade (ft Sauti Sol) song, 'Africa',

Biko weruya wayo
Wayaka

(I know 'biko' is please in Igbo)
Oh and maybe it is misspelled..? On the song on youtube it are the words from 1:14-1:18.

Thank you so much !!!

Hi!! I'm not Nigerian but I want to know if the lyrics to Yemi Alade's song 'Africa' are Nigerian Pidgin English:
Biko weruya wayo - wayaka (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAPEntGix4M from 1:14-1:18)
Can someone help me translate them and tell me which language it is? Biko means please in Ibo right? But the rest I don't know...
Thank you!!
