Suicidal thoughts are very dangerous and most times it is usually because of depression, often times financial constraints, you just want to end it all, it is really difficult.
Now the economy is not helping, I read a tweet somewhere today where a lady said she is surprised at how Nigerians are quiet as to how difficult it is to even eat now because the price of everythibg has shot up through the roof, and I said to myself, alot of people are dying inside of them and it will get to a point that ensing it all will seem like a good idea.
Have I thought of suicide before? Yes. Why didn't I go through with it? Till today I don't know, but taking it one day at a time is helping me a lot. The funny thing is I never shared my thoughts with anyone but my wife noticed my sleepless nights and she always stood up to pray once I'm awake, she didn't force me or ask me to join her she just sang praises and prayed, I joined it sometimes and I cry sometimes too but in all I thank God
