In a surprise but very welcome development, the N82 and both variants of the N95 have received a firmware update, taking them to v35. Specifically, the N95 (RM-159) is upto 35.0.02 & the N95 8GB (RM-320) is at 35.0.01 and the latest firmware for the N82 is now v35.0.002. There is no changelog available yet and I am going through my drawers to look for my own N95 to update. Just a word of caution before you dive in yourself, just remember there is no user data preservation, so make sure you backup before you hit the NSU.

Shake SMS (unsigned) Application allows you to read your messages without opening your phone. Please note that this application needs to be signed. When you receive a message just shake your phone and the message appears, shake it again and the message disappears. You can change the sensitivity of the application so you don't need to shake your phone too hard. http://www.nokia-n95.net/download/n95-applications/shake-sms-unsigned-/get.html?no_html=1&chk=b1bae6c51b9a6fab4c038ed8c72dc4ec

Sorry for the delay, I ve been digging up nice stuff you can do on your phone here is an interesting stuff I got but yet to try it out. How To Be Notified When Someone Reads A Text From You You've probably seen this kind of feature in emails before. Basicalll it's a feature where by you're notified when the recipient of your text message opens it up and reads it. The function is simple to execute, and can be very useful if you rely on text messaging for your communication. All you do is simply type *0# at the beginning of your message. Then be sure you make a space between the character and your actual text. What will then happen is that you'll be notified when the recipient actually opens the text up. It's an added text, but again it has its uses depending on how much you rely on texting. note this is different from your text delivery report. |
@honsule what are the main new features or changes made on v35? |
