Simply means ‘Stolen iPhone’.

They will buy iPhone using their credit card, insure the iPhone against theft then travel to a far away city, switch off the iPhone and report it as stolen to the insuring company or to their credit card provider.

The company or provider will block the iPhone so it cannot be used in the country it was reportedly stolen. Refund the cost or replace the iPhone.

Then the thief will now sell the iPhone to his home country. This crime is always committed by immigrants from 3rd world countries.

It was still working then. Even now, you can't use naira cards on dollar denominated websites but AliExpress has always accepted payment in different currencies.

Oh really? I never knew about that. I like the Opay option I saw there. Seems one can even pay by just using his Opay login and not necessarily with the card.
