I personally have issues with the 'kneeling down to propose' saga. Kneeling down does not depict or portray love. The idea of kneeling down originates from a sense of surrender or submissiveness to a higher authority. I believe that this tradition was introduced by men who became inferior by allowing themselves to be manipulated by women in the Western world. It is certainly not part of African culture!
There is no Correlation between kneeling down and show of love/affection!
