If he failed to declare them for reasons unknown. The ccb acting in good faith could have given him the opportunity to refill the declaration form. It has been done before.
The whole process was a witch hunt because the EFCC first accused him of billions which was false. They further used the ccb to conclude the hatchet job with hot fire on the ass of the ccb chairman knowing he has a pending EFCC case.

Let put sentiment apart and look at the case of Onnoghen holistically. What are the facts on ground?

1. The presidency was never comfortable with his emergence as CJN. The president refused to confirm his appointment. It was Osibanjo that sent Onnoghen name to the Senate when PMB was out of the country.

2. It was this same Onnoghen against all odds that gave PMB favourable ruling in one of the election Tribunals.

3. The media propaganda that Onneghen has Millions of dollars and several houses was proved to be false even at the CCT. Information available indicates that the total money that Onnoghen will forfeit to the FGN according to the CCT judgement is less than N50 Million.

4. The FGN hurriedly acted on a petition against the CJN at a record speed and suspended the CJN without first passing through the NJC as required by the constitution. It is of interest that the appeal court had ruled on two other cases concerning two other judges of the supreme court that only NJC had the jurisdiction to first investigate judicial officials.

Sir/ ma the issue is she is not the prime suspect, she was in proximity of the crime committed by her brother. Note her Brother! She can not be held liable for the sons of her brother, as an accomplice if established, she would be deterred as a minor.

Jungle justice would surely have had her done by now, but the fact is that she had little or no executive or premeditative stance on the issue until proven otherwise.

As for the case, if the girl is truly a minor, that is she was or is under 18 as at the time of the crime.
Then the law grinds good. As a minor in the midst of grown ups, except where she is prime suspect, she might not be held liable, as it is assumed that as a minor according to Nigeria laws she has very little or no say in the perpetuation of the crime. She can still be referred to a juvenile court though.
