BlackBaron: Trust me on this. Except it's an illegal crop, most countries can grow large scale farms indoors with led lights and so. Certain states in America, Netherlands etc do this on large scales. Weed is often very easy to grow. They are some countries that prohibits the cultivation of cannabis. The refined produce can be exported to such countries as medical marijuana. |

BlackBaron: Certainly.
It's not a question of just export. There's also varieties of strains, hybrids etc with some more favoured than others. We don't know which is ours and the liberal countries allowing cannabis products already have capitalists growing certain desirable strains in their own countries and closer to their markets for quicker distribution. The world is a large place. They are several countries with disadvantaged climatic factors that hinders the growth of Marijuana. The key is locate demand, supply and reap Returns. That's it!! |

majekdom2: you are the one not thinking straight. The problem with your likes is they have limited knowledge on subject matter but they think they have sufficient. It’s called “deluded ignorance” according to me. This will help you on America and oil- http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20150921-why-the-us-hides-700-million-barrels-of-oil-underground. The Irish potatoes in Rwanda, how many countries are importing those potatoes and is Rwanda keen on exporting. We both know Rwanda’s economy is one of the fastest growing in Africa right now. Why did they choose to sign a deal with an European football club and also invest in tourism. Why didn’t they invest in exporting their “sweet” potatoes? You should know the answer now. The market demand for their sweet potatoes is weak. Except there is a specific health value, I will get the same nutritional value as with the one in Nigeria, so why should I buy an imported potatoe. This is just like saying the federal government will invest in exporting aloevera. We both know aloe Vera is medicinal, there is a demand for it but the truth is it is surplus and can grow almost anywhere thus the ROI is insignificant to the GDP. You are a black Na. With a problem. Sowore doesn’t think like someone who has lived in the US if he does he would have understood clearly why Northern Americans are growing cannabis. And ofcourse, I see your reasoning now if out of all the countries in the world, the only country you can emulate is Afghanistan. Now you have my attention. The link you sent me didn't go. It showed page not found... please find in the attachment. Kindly find the reason in the link below from the World Wildlife Organization. https://www.worldwildlife.org/stories/5-reasons-why-america-s-arctic-should-remain-off-limits-to-new-drilling-for-oil-and-gasYou need to calm down and learn to think at the same pace as you type. Because you are obviously not thinking straight. No one will wake up in the morning and decide to export any product with non-existing demand. Except the person is not thinking straight like you.... First you must find demand then you supply and bring in ROI. So you dont expect Rwanda to export Irish Potatoes to Nigeria except there is a high demand for it. I hope you understand? Now, I made reference to Opium and Afghanistan. If there is a high demand for high grade Marijuana and we have it, why cant we export it? Please answer rather than burn it and allow it to rot...

BlackBaron: Lol this guy should be serious. Canabis is not exported in its raw form by any country unless by 'cartels'. It'll have to be processed extensively to produce other cannabis based creams or prescription products and then exported.
We can do with a lot of food/agricultural exports which are staples and whose consumption are in millions of tonnes. The question is can it be exported? If yes than actualize it in whatever process rather than burn it. |

majekdom2: another dumb individual without foresight. You are talking about the nations that import oil. Those nations have functional refineries that refine oil they produce. The import is to ease excess demand and also save for future. America was a key importer of oil because they had thought oil would deplete thus the need to store for future use. However, since alternatives such as solar, electric vehicles are disrupting, they limited inports, started exporting and many of the oil companies are now investing in alternatives. How many functional refineries do you have in Nigeria. You spend money exporting oil and spend money importing the finished product. You want to do same for weed. You want to start exporting weed, again I ask you how much can weed contribute to your GDP. When I say technology, I mean we should have local feature phones. Feature phones will be around in Africa for a long time. We should have local software. How many apps on your phone are Nigerian apps other than your mobile banking apps. The platform for many software is foreign too. Go back to you economics- what will be the demand for weed in 5 years and what will be the demand for emerging technologies in 5 years? Sowore lacks foresight. We don’t need to export or import anything to thrive as a nation. We got population, we got resources. What is lacking is wisdom to lead. And is saddening that your likes and sowore aren’t hungry for it. Investing in technology takes decades to perfect and maintain. It's not like buying a machine and using it. It involves intense training and research developments. So if you invest in Tech for 5 years, it's not enough to compete globally with tech giants who have spent several decades on reaserch and development. So it's only wise to begin with trade of products that can easily generate income quickly than go on a long term investment on tech. |

Sowore lacks foresight. We don’t need to export or import anything to thrive as a nation. We got population, we got resources. What is lacking is wisdom to lead. And is saddening that your likes and sowore aren’t hungry for it. The major reason America focused more on importing oil than drilling was the after effects of oil drilling and the negative effects on the Environment. America has one of the largest oil reserve on earth. But they are guided by Legislations to protect her Environment. Opium is one of the mainstay pf Afghanistan's econmoy. They export it and earn a whole lot from it. So why can't Nigeria export Marijuana? Not every climate can have the best condition for growing certain plants. Apples are grown in Jos but you cant compare the quality of Apples from USA to the one of Jos. Jos's Apple is less quality. I have been to Rwanda and their irish potatoes taste a whole lot better than ours. So if the quality of Marijuana in Ekiti is of high grade using it as a means of export is more advantageous economically than burning it. I really dont know why the black race cant think straight. |

We have a cursed people... Who at night cry of the misrule and poor leadership. But in the day they condemn sincere vibrant potentially sound leaders.
The curse of a black man. Foolishness!!
Sowore, I wish you the best. I will support you the best way I can. If you loose which I hope not, your struggles and efforts will not be in vein. Generations to come will be inspired to Take it back from the thieving old hags... Aluta continual
And to those cursed youth with Foolishness tomorrow it might be you that could be disadvantaged by the rot in the society. Ritualism, Police Brutality and fatality, Kidnapping, Poor medical service, Accidents (Bad roads), Militancy, etc....
Sowore has a future. He lives in New York, he has a life and a wonderful career. If he looses he will go back to it. But you all will continue in your misery and who knows things may get worse....
Wake Up Nigeria...
