Darkmode works on Android 7 plus but would be highly recommended on Android 8, 9 and 10 pie. So without wasting much of your time, below are steps to enable Darkmode on Google play store

Open the Google Play Store app on your device.

Tap the menu icon (3 dots) on the left end of the Play store app’s search bar.
The tap Settings and check your Play Store version. If it’s 16.18.17 or greater, just close the Play Store app and go to the device settings. If your Google play isn’t up to date, simply update to the latest version.

Send the form to facebook and expect a feedback in about 1-3 days. It takes that longer because of the large numbers of users
