As someone who has worked on malaria vaccine development at the NIH, this is certainly very encouraging to hear. This likely been close to a decade or more in the making from the bench molecular biology required to various animal trials and subsequent progression to human trials. Even a 50% success rate would have a tremendous impact on malaria associated morbidity and mortality. Hoping for the best! |
As a doctor based in the US this certainly sad to hear. Sure we have our struggles here but that is mainly focused on healthcare cost and sustainability. However, evidenced based practice is the standard and the majority of the population has access to care. The sector is further strengthened because healthcare providers are appropriately compensated. This is why I am so motivated to revolutionalize healthcare Nigeria because I strongly believe in her potential! I am currently working with a few medical colleagues in partnership with major healthcare stake holders in Nigeria on bringing world class medical care to the Nigerian population. We are very interested in hearing from the masses in order to fully understand your current thoughts, needs and desires in the ideal medical practice. We would sincerely appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete this survey to enable us to better serve your needs. We strongly believe that Nigerians should have access to world class medical care and will work hard to make this a reality! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z6THZ2F Thank You! |

This one is another opportunity for bribe and profit for whoever takes that contract. That money could be invested in improving other aspects of airport security. As opposed to invested in a machine that can be sidestepped for the right price |
As if 419 was not enough now we don add terrorism to the resume. I am just happy that the thing didnt work or else it would have been bad. I am in the U.S and I already deal with the 419 and yahoo jokes. I feel bad for the genuine people that need student Visas and even those that were hoping on DV lottery visa because all that one will probably diminish soon as a result of this. Its a shame. |
