The movie star famously known for his ”Hopeless Romantic’‘ roles became a hot topic of discussion online over the past few weeks, courtesy of Big Brother Naija 2020 housemate, Ozo.

Umez who said he has heard a lot about Netizens on Twitter, joined the micro-blogging platform and shared a video via @toneroangel to prove that it is really his handle.

He enjoined fans to be nice and welcome him.

This is coming at a time that he is being compared with BBNaija housemate Ozo over the extent he is willing to go to prove his love for fellow housemate, Nengi.

Crime › We Don’t Need Bank Insider To Transfer Money From Victims’ Phones ― Suspects by Naijamedialog(op): 12:18am On Aug 28, 2020

Operatives of the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, have arrested five suspected members of a syndicate which specialized in stealing mobile phones to withdraw money from owners’ accounts.

The suspects boasted that they did not need an insider connection in banks to transfer money from stolen SIM cards. Rather, they claimed they had codes which could facilitate the change of owners withdrawal pins.

The suspects’ modus operandi included visiting hair salons in high brow areas in Lagos, pretending to have come to either plait, wash or have their hair cut, only to snatch phones that are carelessly placed by genuine customers.

They had stolen a Samsung X9 phone in a barbing saloon, in Lekki area of Lagos, two months ago, from where they successfully withdrew N2.3 million.

Identities of the suspects are Daniel Asigbe, 25; Ikechukwu Aigbe, 25; Frank Opara, 21; Seun Dairo 19 and Goodness Ndukwe, 19.

During interrogation, one of them, Asigbe, said: “I stole the phone and gave the SIM card to Ikechukwu, who got the owner’s BVN. He sent the BVN number to Yele( at large), who generated the account owner’s transfer pin.

“He gave Ikechukwu the details. He ( Ikechukwu) transferred N2.3 million from the account, into Seun’s account. He also bought N20,000 worth of airtime from the account. We don’t have a bank insider, we bypass them because we get all the information we need to transfer money from stolen phones through some codes”.

The Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Hauwa Adamu, informed that as at the time of arrest, one of the suspects, Seun, had given his Auto Teller Machine card to Opara, apparently for another deal.

She said: “Investigation is in progress as suspects will be charged to court upon completion, for prosecution. Meanwhile, members of the public are hereby advised to quickly draw necessary attention in the event of loss of their mobile phones or other valuables”.

Eyitayo Jegede, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, was born to the family of late Chief Johnson Bosede, the Odopetu of Isinkan, Akure, and Mrs C.O Jegede (née Asokeji) from Ipele town, near Owo in Ondo State, Nigeria.

He attended St. Stephen’s “SA” Primary School Modakeke,”Ife” and was at Aquinas College Akure from 5 January 1973 to July 1978 for his Secondary education

He was a Senior Prefect at Aquinas College and took active part in Sports in the best traditions of the family. He had his Higher School Certificate Education at Christ School, Ado Ekiti, and was the School Volleyball Captain both at Aquinas College, Akure and Christ School, Ado Ekiti between 1978 and 1980.

Ondo west local government election which ought to be peaceful has been hijacked and distorted by APC thugs under the covers of Ondo police command today across various wards and units in the local government.

People turnout in Mass to vote their candidate of choice but were sent home by hoodlums as gun shots were heard in unit 6,7,26 of ward 7, in some wards the APC Miscreants drove in with picnic , plate number: to snatch ballot boxes , no less than 50 ballots boxes were snatched as citizens could not perform their civic right today.

One of the eye witness Mr Akin James said election did not took place in Ondo west local government today as members of the public sustain injuries in unit 5 and 6 ward 7 as they were chased away by hoodlums who prevented them from performing their civic right.

African democratic Congress chairmanship candidate Dr Felix Akinola said he condemned the total election process that took place in Ondo west local government as APC hoodlums conspires with ODEIC to snatch ballots boxes and denying people of their civic right as he demands cancellation of the election in it totality, as there were no free and fair election in the local government chairmanship election, he thefore called for a rerun of the election under strict supervision of the military as Policemen does not have the right crediential to protect right of the citizenry as they have displayed siege against the will of the people today .

However, the party chairman in a statement released to the press in one of the polling unit said ADC completely condemns the subversive act by policemen and ODEIC who were alleged to have protect hoodlums in snatching of ballots boxes in various wards.

He therefore called on all lovers of democracy to unite against the “brazen attack” on Nigeria’s democracy, saying such barefaced “assault is only akin to a destruction of human rights and should not be allowed to stand”.

He said that Nigerians and Ondo residents watched in bewilderment as police and ODEIC officials in the company of alleged All Progressives Congress thugs, invaded polling units in the local government unleashed violence on voters, disrupted polling processes and hauled away electoral materials.

Meanwhile, we are yet to hear from ODEIC and the police area command has they resist to grant any interview during the period of filing this report.

APC HOODLUMS ATTACKED HON. ABIOLA MAKINDE AND HIS PARTY MEMBERS DURING A PEACEFUL POLITICAL RALLY IN ONDO.

It was gathered that some party members of the All Progressive Congress attacked Hon. Abiola Makinde; The Honourable Member, House Of Representatives representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency and his political party African Democratic Congress yesterday, which brought about a violent clash that happened around Surulere Area , Ijoka Kajola axis in Ondo town, Ondo State.

One of the eye witnesses around Surelere street , Mr. Daramola Ojo said "it was a peaceful rally until hoodlums from the All Progressive Congress launched an attack on Hon. Abiola Makinde Convoy and members of ADC which lasted for over thirty minutes leaving up to 15 vehicles vandalized and many people injured"

It was learnt that the cause of the fight was as a result of the local government poll coming up on Saturday.

Meanwhile APC members in the local government area have been flying around play trick images as victim.

The ADC leaders in a press release stated that non of their members were involved in a rephrase attack has stated in media by the APC media.

Furthermore, ADC is a peaceful party that cares for the people.
