Speaker Dogara and his corrupt gang

me. Dogara and co are pissed off
that on request of my lawyers, DSS
provided me with security. Now they
want to set me on collision with th
DSS.
Since they can't find corruption
allegations against me, they have

I became Head of State by accident of history – Gowon

Former Head of State, retired Gen. Yakubu Gowon says he became Head of State 31 years ago by accident of history without nursing the ambition. Gowon stated this when Deputy Chairman of Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Sen. Shehu Sani, paid him a courtesy call in Abuja on Wednesday.


Gowon was reacting to calls by some Nigerians for the reduction of age limit to 30 years to contest for presidential position in the country. “What happened was the accident of history. “When you have lost your leadership and there was crisis and you don’t know what to do and it happened that those within your constituency chose you, what would you do?

“I was lucky enough within the military at that time and all the officers knew me by reputation. “I had no intention to become head of state but it is the opportunity, if opportunity presents itself and people ask you to do it then do it. “What I have achieved is (because of) God. I had never thought of becoming head of state but there was a coup and all my senior colleagues were killed and I was the only one that survived.

“My plan was to rise in my profession and hopefully become a head in my profession but that did not happen. `I didn’t know what happened but I had the duty and responsibility to ensure the coup in Lagos did not succeed’’, he said. The former head of state advised younger Nigerians to prepare themselves academically and morally to take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves.

narrates how her friend a doctor in
waiting met her untimely death during
a ghastly motor accident. She wrote,

Just around 7pm yesterday, a call
came into my phone from a guy from
my village.
Doc how far? I'm at umuikaa now, A
team of doctors traveling to umuahia
from Absuth had an accident at
umuikaa ,11 people with the driver
sustained minor injuries , one person
is seriously injured but one died
instantly.
At that point I picked it up and
objected it immediately ; No! One
dead already? I'm not sure they are
doctors from Absuth. He then
enquired more; he told me that they
said they were coming from Absuth
where they went to pick up their
gowns for induction on Thursday.
Immediately I dropped the call,
called Dr Iheuwa Henry to confirm if
that bus actually left this evening
and he confirmed it immediately but
not aware of the incident.
I called Dr Nma Halliday whom i knew
should also be in the bus and then
she couldn't talk much, all she
could tell me was that Dr Nneoma
Uhuegbu is in a mortuary around
Umuikaa and that they are at FMC
umuahia receiving treatments.
Now my questions is;
What is this life all about?
Trained to save lives for eight
years and died even before saving a
life?
After celebrating on your
matriculation day and thanking God
for giving you medicine.

successful 2nd MBBS, 3rd, 4th and
final MBBS.

Why couldn't you just have sustained
injuries like others, no matter how
critical ,why not just go into coma
and give us hope to see you again.

and now who will receive it on that
induction day when your name will be
called?
You were a perfect girl, God fearing
and lots, could it be why God took
you home so early? Maybe to a better
home ?

Notorious Kidnapper/Armed arrested by
Rivers Anti-Cultism Police Team
The notorious Kidnapper/Armed Robber
popularly called Spring who has been
terrorising Ogoniland was this
morning arrested by the Anti-Robbery
Squad of the Police.
Spring is currently being
interrogated at the Rivers State
Police Command headquarters and has
made useful confessions on several
criminal activities in Ogoniland.
Spring is responsible for several
killings , kidnappings and armed
robbery in Ogoniland. He is was one
of the most notorious criminals in
the state.
As at press time, several opposition
politicians in the state are at the
Rivers State Police Command to effect
the release of Spring.
It was gathered that the opposition
leaders in Rivers State stormed the
Rivers State Police Command in
company of a senior police officer
from Abuja.
