68816419: did you also noticed how many industries are their in Lagos, can you compare Nairobi and Lagos when it comes to size, Lagos alone have populations about 20millions while the entire population of Kenya is 40millions, lastly how would you compare slums in both cities? Industries should improve your living standards, not depreciate it. |

ArchieTaylor: And when they go to those countries meet a white, an indian or an arab that has been there for almost 150 years they start bitching that they are hated and they should be loved because they are real africans. Nationality first here Very true bro...... Everytime you meet a Nigerian hes always complaining how Nigerians are harassed in Kenya while Indians and Whites live like kings. You wonder, should we arrest an innocent Indian or white (who are normally Kenyans btw) and let a Nigerian criminal stay illegally in our country just because we share the same skin color? Interestingly, these are the same guys who keep mentioning how they're very different from us and how their culture is superior to ours. |

mkenya254: Lol... The Olympics is the 2nd largest sporting event only after the World Cup.
You have won at total of 24 medals since Nigeria started participating in the Olympics while Kenya has won 31 gold medals against your 3 total gold medals.
You dispute the Olympics only to show me the all African games that a lot of our top athletes don't attend to prepare for the more prestigious IAAF and Olympics.. Lol.. Please shut up
Hahaha.. Scrabble is more prestigious than Olympics. You are so stupid I can't argue with you anymore. Who the Bleep watches scrabble tournaments. Lol.. Global viewers must be less than 1000..hahahahahahahaha
We have more paralympic medals than Nigeria and please quote world titles only. Not African titles which have no recognition I see your frustration bro. Some of these guys are so stupid I find it painful arguing with them. |

forgiveness: If we sell one to Kenya, we will become richer. Kenyans would never buy that crap. We better manufacturer our own crap. The reason we import things is because they're of better quality than what we can manufacture - I don't see how we can import military equipment from Naija if we can manufacture similar or better equipment. |

mkenya254: I was actually shocked since I was told those were the most affluent places to live in Lagos. In fact on my way back there were 2 blackouts at the mutala airport. I was so shocked. From an honest view, with the large GDP I never expected something like that in Nigeria. I was told there are political cartels who sell generators hence don't want the country to have efficient power
I live in Gigiri, Nairobi. I have had 2 blackouts for the whole year lasting a total of less than 4hrs in total. Even the so cold poor estates always have electricity. I am from a small town called Kisii in western kenya which also has consistent power 24/7.
In fact 99% of estates and schools in Kenya don't have generators since there is power almost 24/7
Generators are only found in industries and hospitals which cannot afford to lose power at any time even for 5mins obviously Nigeria's GDP figures are cooked. No country with a GDP of over $500 billion can fail to finance a less than $30 billion budget without aid and loans. |

68816419: so does that means is only Nigerians that do all what you mentioned, why single out Nigerians why not the corrupt "drug barons politicians like Hassan joho ,Kidera and many more? ? 1. We deport every foreigner who sells drugs, it's only that whiny Nigerians complain the most. 2. We can't deport our own citizens, they belong here whether good or bad. 3. Stupid Nigerians need to stop trying to play the big boys' games. Just because Hassan Joho deals drugs doesn't mean some shitty boy from Anambra can come here and try the same - you see, Joho is a billionaire, billionaires tend to get away with many things especially in their own countries. Just like Dangote gets a lot of incentives, subsidies and favoritism from the Nigerian government to the extent he complains bitterly when the Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia governments don't give him the same. |

Boyedex: Yes we do have problems with our refineries. Bad governance of many years made them moribund. Yes it's bad for a gigantic country like Nigeria, so you can laugh over it all you can, but trust me your jests are gonna be short-lived. One of the biggest refineries in the world is already underway. With a production capacity that will see Nigeria exporting it's excess by 2018/2019, just two years from now. The construction has numerous effects including the generation of 12000MW electricity as well as fertilizers and many other derivatives for export. This time it's not a government venture, it's private and the antecedents of the owner have always proved successful and timely. You always speak of the future when you're cornered as if other countries have no future and no plans. Silly boy. |

Eko pearl(Lagos) can also decides to add same extended steel to its build and tag it "Tallest building in Africa"..so what? Several pages ago you bragged how NECOM Tower in Lagos was constructed in the 80s while Kenya began constructing tall buildings recently, how come you never realized that NECOM was only that tall because of the spire? Again I like the way you changed the topic from ownership to height when you were given facts on ownership. lol |

68816419: Great!, (Britam Tower is a 31 storey building under construction in Upper Hill) while eko towers is 34,33,32,28..), Nairobifirstly British American Investment Company (Mauritius) owned Britam Holdings Limited, previously known by as British-American Investments Company Kenyans only have shares of the building at the stock markets "the group's operations commenced in Kenya in 1965 with the opening of the first office in Nairobi as a foreign branch of British-American Insurance Company Limited, headquartered in the Bahamas. A local company was incorporated on 14 November 1979 as British-American Insurance Company (Kenya) Limited under the Companies Act as a private limited liability company following a government directive that all branches of foreign owned insurance companies must be incorporated locally. By this time, the Company had established nine branches across Kenya. This local incorporation represented the first step in the localisation of the Company. In 1984, local Kenyan investors acquired 33.33 percent of the shareholding in line with government directives Lol......even when you're given evidence you try pathetically to disparage it. But Kongobi got you this time - you only managed to touch a single building there. Typical Nigerian attitude. Meanwhile the Eko Atlantic you're bragging of is being done by the Lebanese - how a big country like Nigeria becomes slave to a tiny country like Lebanon is beyond logic. |

68816419: obviously, if i have few facilities that consumes less energy i will be able to generate constant electricity don't you think so? ,man, every part of Nigeria have large industries from Kaduna,Kano,IMO.Anambara,Lagos Ogun to Oyo ...unlike Kenya where the few industries are located in Nairobi. Dude.... countries with more industries have a better supply of electricity. See, more industry means more revenue to the government hence more capacity to generate more electricity and create a better supply system. It also means more jobs to citizens hence more people who can afford electricity. It is interesting how you guys blame your low living standards on your industries - lol. So what's the point of having industries if they bring you misery instead of improved living standards? |

68816419: and i keep telling to you that , if Nigeria had or have few industries like Kenya, we would be generating so much power and even sell some to Kenya .... What's the point of having industries if they can't improve your living standards? I would rather stay in a country with very few industries yet very high living standards like Botswana. Industries are meant to upgrade your living standards, in Nigeria they're apparently doing the opposite if I have to go with what you're saying here so what's the point of having them? Countries get better supply of electricity when they get industrialized, according to you, Nigeria has poor electricity supply because it's industrialized. lol.......you guys are hilarious. |

68816419: same goes to many places in Nigeria, the truth still remains that, their are many cities in Nigeria that enjoys 24/7 electricity , the reason why the rest of other cities could not get constant electricity is because of the population and the large industries which are located in most of these states of the federation unlike Kenya where all the industries are situated in Nairobi In Kenya all places have 24/7 electricity supply. In Nigeria just a few neighborhoods do - see why you sound stupid comparing yourselves to us? |

Another figure thrown around. i already told you, you could announce to the world that you produce 1,000,000MW of electricity but as long as your citizens can't get 24/7 supply of electricity it's nothing. You can fool other people but you can't fool yourselves. |

See? It's like a mutual partnership. Enter Nigeria - so many of you living in pathetic conditions here yet there are barely any Kenyans in Nigeria. Why?
