Nigeria has never had tourism at heart at the federal level, but just one state in Nigeria (Cross River state) decided to invest in tourism and the state now hosts Africa's biggest street carnival where cultures are displayed to the fullest which attracts millions of viewers.
Allowing barbarism and savagery in the 21st century is not the best way to promote tourism.
Civilisation does not take away your cultural elements away from u unless u allow it.

The last nomadic people we have in Nigeria (the fulani mbororo), infact most of them are not Nigerians but from Niger, Mali e.t.c. However, our govt is working seriously on nomadic education to integrate them into the society as full time educated ranch farmers, but it seems like in Kenya it is the other way round and just like Ethiopia and their savage omotic speakers, u guys are using the Masai people for tourism purposes.

See.....there's a difference between someone who emigrates legally for a purpose and someone who risks their life boarding a rafter across an ocean or hiding in a foreign country just to get away from their country. The first person has a choice - they want to travel because they want to and can. Even people from very rich countries do that. The second person is simply running away from his country because it has too many problems. It is understandable when you risk your life running away from a war torn country like Syria, Somalia or S. Sudan but very laughable when your people risk their lives running away from Nigeria with no plan of where they are going yet still claim to be the giant of Africa. You won't find Kenyans or Brazilians doing that. I know you're thick but I hope you'll get that.

I believe so, cos for a country of 40 million people, yet they have only 1 city (Nairobi) with above a million people.
All the other smaller towns and cities put together (Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret e.t.c) are barely up to 5 million people. This tells us that only about 25% of Kenyans live in cities & towns, and even half of those in the so called towns live in slums (courtesy of Kibera, mathare and others emerging the largest slums in Africa).
That's really terrible for a country that wants to compete with Nigeria.


In Nigeria every of our 36 states + Abuja (Federal territory) have at least 1 city (the state capital city) with over 500,000 people.
Some states have 2, 3 or more cities with over a million or half a million people.
We have at least a hundred towns with about 100,000 people or more. And all these individual states and cities are developing at their own unique paces.
At least 70% of the 200million Nigerians live in developing towns and cities.
Nigeria's development is explosive. It's just a matter of time.

Go and check the first years of post independent Nigeria before oil exploration started, in the 60's. We were doing very very well.
Our exports were in millions of dollars and we were among the world's highest exporters of Cocoa, Cotton, Oil palm, Rubber, Groundnut, Tin & columbite and Hides & skin. Google is your friend. At that time, Kenyans were still dreaming of freedom.

1. Nigeria got independence in 1960 while Kenya got in 1963 - that's just a difference of 3 years......and how does it matter? Stop reasoning like your stupid politician who thinks Nigerians were in UK universities while Kenyans were in the forest when formal education in Kenya is as old as in Nigeria. Ghana got independence 3 years before you - does that make Ghana superior to you? Liberia had been an independent state for 113 years before Nigeria gained independence, does that make Liberia greatly superior to Nigeria?

2. You claim Nigeria was doing very well shortly after independence then went on a downward trend thereafter - can I say then that Nigeria was only run well under the White Man and continued with the momentum a few years after independence before you Naijas bleeped it up? Does that then beat the logic of you peeps always trying to credit the White Man on any advancement other African countries make? Can we then agree you do that from insecurity since you feel so bad that a white man created you a good country which you destroyed so now you get very jealous and combative whenever other countries do well and since you can't fathom it you go around shouting 'oyinbo did it for them'?
