tylann: No Kenyan uses 2g network In terms of internet we even beat USA We can even show you good houses in kibera not all houses are shacks in kibera Some are middle income apartments But kibera is a slum and ajegunle is a slum not slummish So stop fooling yourself and post real pictures of ajegunle I'm ignoring that No-ones-anus idiot. He's not the person you can have a serious discussion with. He speaks from his anus reason I avoided responding to him. He thinks posting a few photos of good houses in Ajegunle - most which are hoaxes from those 419 guys - makes Ajegunle not a slum. Dude doesn't know even in Kibera there are nice houses. Ask him to post a nice aerial view of those Ajegunle houses he speaks of and he won't. Meanwhile hear is what you you get when you google Ajegunle.

68816419: u said , we Nigerians Tagged this area slums and i then proved to you that the place STILL remains slums and that no improvement has been recorded since the colonial master left the areas for black Kenyans to manage and i also mentioned that only the sections closer to the highway looks average . i know every where in Nairobi, the facts remains that, only cbd, westland upper hill and some few other places can be compared to middle income areas in Nigeria. fact! I see how you're trying to save face by conveniently inserting "and some few other places" to save your ass from the lies you told. Dude, I posted you photos of greenpark estate (which you didn't even know: interesting for somebody who claims to understand Nairobi inside out) and Runda to respond to your claims and you're conveniently ignoring it to focus on Kariobangi? Just accept you lack knowledge and spoke out of ignorance to save your lying ass. Meanwhile show me those other middle income areas in Lagos outside Lekki, Victoria and CBD that can compare with Nairobi areas outside CBD and Westlands. |

68816419: Finlay you gat something to masturbate about,
Kariobangi is a low-income residential estate in northeastern Nairobi, Kenya. It consists of both apartments and slum-type dwellings. It is split into two parts, Kariobangi North and Kariobangi South. The northern part was constructed first, with first buildings built in 1961, Its seems like every areas in Nairobi gat slums?
As is common with most city council estates, the estate has suffered its share of maintenance neglect which coupled with uncoordinated housing extensions and new real estate developments by the so-called 'private developers' has threatened to make the estate lose its original identity and character. A number of former open -children- playgrounds have been grabbed and turned - overnight - into low-cost - both permanent and semipermanent - housing units. The highlight of this trend has been the development of an informal settlement estate 'slum', right next to the primary school. Other types of developments characteristic of the 'land grabbing mania' of the early to late 1990s include the low-cost housing units constructed in the previously vacant and sparse land area (popularly known as 'lightie'), which lies towards the north and eastern parts of the estate and which was earlier reserved for light industries/small-scale enterprises aimed at building an entrepreneurial base in the area - as a way of fighting poverty within the area and the city in general terms.
The land-grabbing mania meant the entrepreneurial dream was never to be realized as intended as the land fell into the hands of well connected - and sometimes politically correct – private developers who have since turned this land into residential estates. All these developments have come at a cost, with insecurity topping the list, leading to the establishment of a chief's camp and an Administration Police post at the heart of the estate to curb the rising incidents of crime. I see you if ignored the stupid argument you had started about Nairobi being only the CBD and Westlands to divert attention on this after I exposed your ignorance and stupidity. Nice try. |

68816419: nigga, the first pics u posted is the small estates adjoined to the mall, y don't you show us the infrastructure around the mall( where black Kenyans leaves and not an extensional estates of the mall?). Karen is more like a small residential areas for whites and few top politicians with no middle and low class Kenyans residing their(with bad infrastructure even at that), plus, the places you find black ordinary Kenyans are places like rongai, langanta,Kibera and south c, and all these areas have on thing in common, no good roads, no good area plans, so many slums and shanty. Manze, you need to come to Nigeria and understand what "distributed development " means, development in most Nigeria cities are evenly distributed unlike what is obtained in most other Africa cities where development are centered around CBD . 1. The photo I posted is not even close to the mall, it is in fact 50km away from the mall. Reason I say, you definitely know nothing about Nairobi and you've never been to Nairobi. 2. So Karen is small and Kibera is large? 2.5 sq. Km is bigger than 50 sq. Km? Are you even listening to yourself? Just for your information though, Karen is ranked among the world's best neighborhoods - not Africa but the whole effing World! https://www.kenyans.co.ke/news/27663-karen-estate-ranked-among-top-global-neighborhoods3. And you think Lang'ata does not have good infrastructure? How many neighborhoods in Lagos are better than Lang'ata? What have you shown us about Lagos other than the few photos of Lekki, Victoria and CBD? Look at this photo that's far from the CBD - How many Lagos estates can match this in terms of infrastructure? Your argument was, Nairobi is only CBD and Westlands, now I'm showing you photos of developed places in Nairobi that are far from the CBD and you're changing the argument. Please show us your supposed uniform development in Lagos. What is there to see outside Lekki, Victoria and CBD? There's nothing to learn from Nigerian cities my friend. Stop lying to yourself. If Abeokuta and Ibadan - 90% slums and that crap I see in Lagos is what makes you think the whole Africa should come to Nigeria then you're sick. The only sub Saharan Africa countries worth emulating in City Planning are South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Most Nigerians here think Nairobi could give Lagos a million lessons. Below is Runda Estate that neighbors 2 Rivers if that's what you're so interested in. Part of it is outside Nairobi

68816419: its only in kenya that malls equates development, large malls are built in sparsely populated areas and in areas projected to be having better market prospects and not bcs of the development of such areas . I challenge you to show me nice roads(Inner roads) ,well planned areas in that area where the mall (2Rivers) is built and you should also show me any good roads infrastructure in other parts of the so called "greater Nairobi",please?. Dude, I mentioned 2 Rivers because 2 Rivers has been posted here. Stop being an idiot. The roads around 2 Rivers are what Nigerians can only dream of. Is Karen in the CBD? Have you been to Nairobi? Do you know how far from the CBD this photo below was taken? Stop being an Idiot and argue on facts.

68816419: Well, you claimed that the so called greater Nairobi is large, but yet, the only developed parts of it are less than 2%(mostly CBD, upper hill and Westland) and not far a parts from each other(@ most 3KMs). Are their good roads infrastructures and distributed developments in these other areas, why do you then dwell in showing only the 2% good parts of the so called "greater nairobi'' ? Let me ask you a simple question, is the 2Rivers mall in the CBD? Please, stop being an idiot. |

They are both rated 43 & 93 best hospitals in Africa while aforementioned hospitals in Ghana came a distant 109 & 118.

If Abuja is dead, why does it have malls than the entire Ghana?
If Abuja is dead, how come it has better estates, better hospitals, better hotels, more and better parks, railway system, more skyscrapers, airport, etc than Accra?
Accra is not among the top 10 livable cities in Africa. Stop lying.
FCT is bigger than Greater Accra times two. Abuja the capital is bigger than Accra times two with bigger population than Accra.
