MY HEART IS PURE AND AT PEACE
MY HEART BEAT FAST AND AT JOY
MY HEART IS STRONG LIKE A GOLD

FOR I HAVE FOUND AN ANGEL
SHE HAS A CULTURE OF SMILING AT ME
THAT MAKES MY INSIDE AROUSING

SHE IS NOT THE FINEST; SHE IS NOT THE BRIGHTEST
BUT SHE HAS THE COURAGE TO BE HERSELF
HER CHARACTER IS DISTINCT,UNIQUE, MILES AWAY FROM THE REST

IF I BRING HER UNTO MY HOME; UNTO MY BED
SHE WOULD BEAR ME NOT JUST KIDS
SHE WOULD BORN ME JOY

SHE WOULD BRON IN ME LAUGHTER
SHE WOULD BE A GOLD TO ADORN MY NECK
AND BRING ME HOPE FOR GENERATIONS IN PRESS.
Poems For ReviewRe: "MY MOTHER; MY DEMIGOD" A poem by Sammy Opeyemi by Namotech: 12:04pm On Jan 28, 2020
Pampering me like a prince
Unluckily married to a poor man...... God bless the hand that wrote this poem
GodlySammy:
MY MOTHER; MY DEMIGOD

In the scratch of the day
I woke up to see a shero
I woke up in the hands of a demigod
Nursing me like a pregnancy
that cost a couple years to get
Singing without a background beats
Pampering me like a princess
Luckily married by a poor man
Weeping when I'm ill
Should I even think of the nine months?
When the deity nurtured me
Despite the pains I caused her
Should I even think of the meal-less nights?
When I ate her food with mine
My mother; My demigod
If I get soaked by the rain
My mother would rather blame the rain
Which didn't stop for me to pass
Which couldn't wait till I get home
Instead of blaming my stupidity
My mother; my demigod
Apart from the creator
Whose thoughts are always positive towards the hominis
My mother is the only being with positive thoughts about me
She understood perfectly
When I innocently bit her mammary gland
Oh! My demigod
My prayer for you always
Is long life and prosperity
My mother; my demigod
Your memory will forever remain indelible
You are the god I can see
My mother; My demigod
I wish you could become immortal.

PoliticsRe: "Nigerians Now Enjoy Better Electricity Than In The Past" - Babatunde Fashola. by Namotech: 9:51am On Jan 25, 2020
Electricity!!! I fear for this our country, let no man who lives in AsoRock talk to us about stable electricity.... Let Fashiola come and live at Alagbado in Ilorin, kwara state, then he would understand what it means to exist without Electricity...........
PoliticsThe Past That Was Us. by Namotech(op): 9:08pm On Jan 24, 2020
Our history is one untold at least without clearity, it is about time we begin to take a critical look of the past that was us. Our stories as a nation and as a people.
A good knowledge and understanding of the little past we give us a clearer view of where we have started. It is only when we seat and study those stories of ages past that we as a nation can understand what have led us to where we are right now.
Our nation is on the verge of colaps, if you don't see it, I do, and vividly at that. We have been told more often than not that our unity lies in our diversity, and ofcourse as true as that might be, to forge that unity we must understand our stories.
My purpose of writing is not to put down any statistical facts, maybe not today, I only want to urge us all to go back to the library and readup our past stories once again, maybe just maybe, we can know where we are coming from and by so doing we can forge a better alliance.
