Racoon: This is the spirit and mindset man. Great you came out stronger and exceptional again after all the academic adventures. Some training in the crucible of life are just stepping stones to greater glory.
I have been looking for all these stories from Zikoko stable. Stories on struggle, failure, hardship then success. Keep them coming
Obviously, Tinubu is neither in charge nor aware of what's happening around him in his Government
This is the plain truth. Anyone who thinks tinubu is in charge of this government is dreaming. That man is hardly aware of what id going on in his illegal government
Edygrin: You're not safe being either, be broke, they'll cheat on you with the rich guy. Be rich and busy and they'll cheat on you with the jobless guy because "he's always around"
It is better to lament in a mansion as a rich man than to cry and gnash your teeth in a one room apartment. Choose your breakfast carefully.
UltraSolid: Not at all. As we petition the police to arrest those who slander us and malign our reputation is the same way police can arrest those who do same to them. No need for sentiments. This happens worldwide and not Nigeria alone so let us stop the victim mentality.
Many think the more they lie outrageously the more followers they gain. It hass to stop. Nigerian activists and bloggers are the most dishonest in the universe by far.
I understand you perfectly but this is Nigeria. The police has not always been known to follow rule of law
Lifestone: I will ignore your impolite. I don't have problems with criticism, but it must be truthful, not this one that you sit in your room and invent something completely false and form critics.
Don't you think the police/ FG is overdoing this? Thee are laid down procedure In handling issues like this! No hounding people in Gestapo manner as if they commited unpardonable crimes
Lifestone: What did she say about the Police? I have continued to argue that Nigerian should know their laws and avoid breaking the rules. A Nigerian videoed her unfair treatment at the Dubai airport and posted it unto the Twitter, she was arrested tried and sentenced to 3 months in Prison for writing and posting negative things online about UAE. But this activists have known respect for their Law, yet they expect the Law to protect them. If you have to say or write, do that with provable facts
Brain dey pain you? Of all the countries you could think of, it's UAE. Does that country looks like a completely free country to you? When has criticism become a crime? This behemoth you guys are protecting will one day swallow you guys and there will be no one to speak for you
Will be traveling too to Owerri but from Warri. using public transport though and it's just me alone. Would have loved to go on the 23rd because 22nd is my town union end of year party here in Warri. However, 23rd is not feasible for reasons we all know. So I will be making it on the 24th. Just in time for my family meeting in the evening.
How's the civic? Rugged? I'm worried about the low ground clearance. Is that a problem in the village considering the eastern terrain..I'm considering getting it next year but the price is going off the roof. Considering honda accord 06 and that your type of civic. Safe trip by the way.
Skooltynz: Guy you have sold your soul if this is how you behave offline I doubt if you would have friends and family around you what a psychopath!
These are the animals encouraging impunity in this country. Seeing a wrong thing and turning around to twist the narrative instead of condemning evil. I give up on this country
Gistmedia10: Drama unfolded recently in a makeup studio as a furious boss banned her apprentices for life following a heated exchange. In a viral video, the makeup artist, visibly upset, could be heard addressing the situation, saying, "Look at my madams them, they’re the owners of my shop. Listen to me, I should never, never see you guys here again!"
The trouble reportedly began after the boss informed her apprentices about critical jobs scheduled for the past Saturday. However, five of them failed to show up. Concerned, the boss reached out to their mothers to inquire about their whereabouts, only to learn that they had spent the night at their boyfriends' homes.
When the apprentices returned to work on Monday, the makeup boss, disappointed by their actions, ordered them to leave her shop, asking them to return to where they came from. The order didn’t sit well with one of the apprentices, who retaliated by calling her boss a “barren woman.”
Deeply hurt by the comment, the makeup boss made the decision to ban all five apprentices from ever working with her again. Reports suggest that the apprentices involved are believed to be Calabar girls.
Pls allow the people in your video to talk. Haba! Must you use your voice to cover all the original conversation? I'm never watching your videos again. You do this nonsense all the time
Urgent1Million: We are discouraged from leaving the country. Message taken. You helped girls to get help from a priest into an NGO but couldn't get help yourself. Continue!
Sometimes I wonder how Una take dey read story sef. The girls were trapped there. They want to return back. They were connected with an NGO that can help them come back to Nigeria. He also was able to return back. I know people who experienced this too. Everything no be cruise
Any man that has had a near death experience is not afraid of dying,
Getting to Morocco against all odds should further boost your zeal to cross to Europe, but you saying you returned back to Nigeria by yourself, makes me doubt this story, It's either it's made up Or you are not a fighter
We Get what we aim for or we die trying, There is no grey area once the mind is made up,
A cousin of mine faced exactly same experience. He is back now. Was able to rebuild his life from scratch. Started a business, got married, bought a car and built a little house for himself. When he returned initially, I couldn't recognised him. He was so lean and dark but now he is back to his ebullient self. Not everything is a lie.
DrDoc: I buy foods in bulk. I noticed that at bull pricing, commodities sold on retail basis at 4,000 Naira per weight, sells at 2,200 on wholesale.
I use Solar and hardly have need for feul for devices.
I have my own motorcycle so rural.movements is cheaper and easier. Buying a Solar motorcycle is next on my agenda
I grow my own foods. I fact as i write, I am.planning on starting my dry season farming December/January
Throughout 2025, I am growing :
Maize for various foods and income
Cassava for flour and other foods
Soya Beans for my oils
Beans for food
Yams and Potatoes
Pepper for dried pepper production
Tomatoes with option to explore making my own preservable tomatoes
The plan is to have long term zero/minimal food expenditure and to exponentially increase my income at the same time. Also noteworthy to say, I am close to varieties of wholesale food markets, as a result i buy my foods super discounted.
I am fully determined to not spend money at all while multiplying whatever earnings I get
God designed agroculture to multiply whatever hardwork, finances put into it. If you can not go to the rurals, partner with people to farm from you, my fellow country men and women. You have all left agriculture for office jobs. How won't there be hunger ?
Ask me questions about anything related to agriculture and I'll be glad to be of help.
Where is your location. Would have loved to partner with you
A country that hates agriculture and basic education cannot do much amongst the comity of nations.
We prefer to import than produce.
The solutions are far fetched but we prefer to suffer as usual.
We go wake up when sleep belleful us.
So under a decade Nigerian farmers went to sleep abi? Instead of looking at the root cause you guys will just be explaining nonsense to shield these evil politicians. The major cause of this inflationary trend is high exchange rate, skyrocketing price of petroleum products and insecurity that is hindering farmers from going to farm Don't bother to argue with me cos I have already finished my lecture. Bye
Klass99: Will it kill you to grant his request for a car or go above and beyond this once, then never bother with going above and beyond, again? I'm thinking we all make mistakes, we do wrong things, we fall, we get up, we learn, we grow, and we thank God for giving us another chance. None of us is perfect.
You're looking at two instances where popsie didn't come through for you (Ukraine and the US) what about the times he was there? The earlier years of your life you may not recall, like, late nights at the hospital because you were sick, going into debt to pay your fees so you won't be sent away from school, lying, stealing or cheating so he could put food on the table for you to eat, etcetera.
Don't stay focused on the occasions when he didn't come through. Even God who created us and loves us more than our parents, doesn't give us everything we want.
I say all of this as someone who has learnt and is still learning the value of letting things go for the sake of inner joy and peace as well as harmonious relationships with others. My soul feels lighter and happier when I don't hold on to grudges.
They say the best revenge is to succeed and do well. You've done that, so let go of the bitterness, and grudges. Be kind and nice to the man, he won't live forever, none of us will and we take nothing out of this world.
Modified to add: Your father did not significantly harm you in any way. That he refused to send you to obodo, should not cancel all of the good things he did or got right.
You have captured everything but let me add my own experience. Presently i provide for my son everything he needs. Among his nieces and nephews, he seems to get the very best in life. Just this morning I told the mother how much I have earmarked for his private lessons. She screamed and said it was too much! That sum is more than half what some of her colleagues earn. I really don't care because I want the best for him. So if I fail to send him abroad tomorrow,God forbid , have I now become a bad father? What of all the time I was there - shelter, school fees, feeding, Medicare, clothings etc. Doesn't all these count too?
If you can afford it,then give him. If not, then explain to him.
RichieDasaint: Na wah for you ooo! Me wey be 35 years na girl of 21 years I keep for house Dey date so! Her full family knows me well cox we both do visit them every weekend! Nor be say na money cox I nor too reach just leaving on old glory but I’m not poor either! Do your own even good
pointblank247: An average 24 year old girl has slept with men that are much older than you. She has probably entered clubs you can't afford to enter. At 33 you are a kid. If I mention the age difference between me and my woman you go fear. All I care about is that she is an adult.
NoIgboSoundTueh: They don't have any natural resources they contribute zero to national purse yet they want to break up from Nigeria. If not that we don't want Biafran kids eating red sand for dinner we would have granted them their biafra with farewell party and some grains as parting gift
otipoju: There are faceless YouTube channels. That di stuff from history, top ten lists, sports and every niche imaginable where the owner does not need to show his face or record anything.
They simply latch on to a popular topics or trend, get a writer to write a script, get a video editor to do the video and add AI voice and then post steadily.
If she has like 15 channels like that she can be raking income from all at the sane time.
Little drops make a mighty ocean.
Google how to run faceless YouTube channels. Learn to use Google to answer any question that comes to mind. There is always free info somewhere on the internet.
Thank you. I asked because I am considering stuffs like that. I am busy though so may look for forms of partnership tho
