Source: uLesson App

Preparing for exams can be quite stressful for many students, especially with national or regional exams such as WAEC/WASSCE. We understand the anxiety that this could bring on and that’s why we are sharing some trusted and proven tips to help you prepare more efficiently and effectively.

Now, let’s get into the tips.

Study, Study, Study - We cannot overemphasize the need to study when preparing for an exam. Afterall, you cannot become familiar with what you haven’t read or studied. It is important to pay attention to the subjects and topics in your curriculum. Becoming familiar with terms, definitions, concepts, lists, and diagrams is a super way to prepare for WAEC exams. Do you have a study timetable? You should create one and stick to it.

Take Short Notes - Do you feel like you have too much information to digest? We understand how overwhelming this could be. The super tip to tackling this is to take short notes as you pore over your study materials. Focus on writing down only relevant information that will enable you to recollect a larger concept. These short notes would be very useful for revisions.

Don’t ignore any Subject - Do you have a least favourite subject? Well, many of us do and we might have the tendency to ignore that subject until the very last minute. Resist this tendency to ignore it, study it as much as you study your favourite subject. Make sure you cover every ground. This super tip would help you ace not just your favourite subject but all!

Use Fun Learning Tools - Research shows that videos, illustrations, animations, motion pictures and images aid better learning and understanding. With an app like the uLesson app, you can learn in a more fun and relaxed manner and increase your ability to remember what you have studied.

Take Practice Tests/Mock Exams - Set a time to practice past WAEC exam questions. This would help you become familiar with how the exam questions are set. A good way to practice is to set a time in which you must have attempted all the questions. Timed quiz is easy to achieve with the uLesson app. With over 8 years of past WAEC questions with detailed solutions available on the app, you can prepare for WAEC with ease.

Those are our 5 super tips! Now, begin to apply these tips and you will be well on your way to being adequately prepared for WAEC/WASSCE exams.

Education / Heard Of uLesson App? Could It Be The Revolution In Education In Nigeria? by Nance2020: 5:19pm On Mar 09, 2020
Recently, a new learning App launched in Nigeria with interactive video lessons on Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for Senior Secondary students. The app known as uLesson app is available for download on the Playstore. When downloaded and installed, users get free access to these carefully prepared videos by quality tutors. However, to get FULL access to ALL video lessons, a user has to subscribe.
Subscription is done or a term basis or an annual basis. A term costs #15,500 while a year cost #29,500. With an active subscription, users will get over 2500 video lessons on these subjects for SS1-3.

What I find interesting is that when one subscribes, a dongle containing an SD card is delivered to them, allowing access to the content at no data cost. In addition to the over 2,500 video lessons, there are tests and quizzes for all subjects and all classes. Reports and analytics are also sent to parents/guardians of a learner via email/SMS. Also, 8 years of past WAEC exams and solutions are available on the app along with 10,000+ Practice tests & Quizzes. Users in Ghana, Gambia and

I find this very interesting and I think it would bridge the gap in our education system, where students don't get access to all topics laid out in their curriculum or worse still, they are thought by teachers who don't fully understand the topics themselves. You can read more about this revolutionary app on www.ulesson.com or download it from Playstore to get the experience.

Let me know your thoughts when you try it.
