These days, trying to get information on search engines is so difficult... Looks like they made it that way so as to push us to their AI platforms..

Atimess you can't find anything related to what you're searching on first, second, third pages, etc... You keep digging until you get a few related ones, meanwhile AI gives you exactly what you want.....and if you copy the text and paste on the search engine, it brings out the referenced materials...

So, why are lecturers or teachers against the use of AI? Can we really do without it??

For me, it has come to stay
You're right. AI is everything now. And this is just the beginning.

AI will TRANSFORM the world, including Nigeria, over the next few years and even millenia.

And I mean for the better.

There is nothing about the man. Those people are only after our natural resources.
Before nko? What should they be after?

In business you must have something to offer. If you possess natural resources, you have value there. What's your problem? Will you eat your natural resources? If you can exchange a bit of that for some investment and technology transfer, what's wrong with that? Nigeria is not Burkina Faso. France has no such leverage here to lock us into any stupid deals that loot our resources and give back nothing. Nigerian leaders are nobody's fools, least of all Jagaban.

I don't know where you guys get the idea that Jagaban is a pushover for the west.

Tinubu is a disaster. Even IMF said so.
The IMF said NO SUCH THING.

To be honest, if I'm an opposition party member or just a neutral sadist, I would be feeling miserable currently when I see that:

1. Nigeria's GDP grew by 3.46%.

2. Unemployment rate decreased to 4.3%.

3. Fuel imports are declining rapidly.

4. Nigeria is now exporting PMS to West Africa and Europe.

5. Crude oil production is climbing towards 2 million bpd.

6. Revenue-debt service ratio reduced from over 90% to 64%.

7. Ambitious tax reforms bills are gaining ground and likely to be passed with minimal amendments.

8. Foreign reserves are climbing to over $40 billion despite the fact that @cenbank expended $5.11 billion between July 2023 - July 2024 to service our external debts and additional $6 billion to clear FX backlogs.

9. External debts are declining marginally contrary to earlier insinuations by @atiku

10. Lagos-Calabar coastal road is progressing rapidly from the Lagos end.

11. Construction from the Calabar end of the Lagos-Calabar coastal road is about to begin.

12. Sokoto-Badagry highway is getting ready to start.

13. Student loan by @NELFUND is gaining wider acceptance

14. Consumer Credit by @CrediCorpNG is reaching many more beneficiaries.

15. Many vehicle owners are eager to convert their vehicles to run on CNG thanks expansion of conversion centers by @PCNGInitiative and expansion of CNG stations by private sector players such as @nipcoplc

16. Local governments are gradually getting their autonomy.

17. John Deere is getting ready to supply first batch of tractors and other agricultural equipment.

18. Reguvenated and restructured social investment programmes are about to resume.

19. Simon Ekpa is in detention and denying his IPOB Prime Ministership like Peter.

20. Bandits are feeling the fire and brimstone from both our airforce and ground forces.

21. Farmers-herders clashes have reduced drastically.

22. New Ministry of livestock is poised to modernise livestock business especially cattle rearing in Nigeria.

23. PH refinery is now back

And many other good news...

I KNOW GLUTTON WILL ASK FOR THE PRICE OF RICE...
The economic model BAT is building is not a subsidized one but rather a real one, he will just focus on purchasing power of the citizens for more consumption. This is the first time we will be having a real economy.
For those in that category currently, may their miserable condition kwontinue n'aha nke nna, na nke okpara, na nke mmuo nso! Ameen 🙏

PoliticsOBJ, GEJ, Bury Your Heads In Shame, As Tinubu Revives Refineries by Napata77(op):
Noisemaking leaders who wrecked our refineries, leading to a long, inglorious era of fuel importation, and have subsequently sought to pontificate on national affairs, positioning themselves as voices of wisdom, need to bury their heads in shame, as the REJECTED STONE, the MUCH-MALIGNED president, widely derided as ‘T-PAIN’, due to his tough but necessary economic policies, President Tinubu, has overseen the revival of the iconic Port Harcourt Refinery, making it ROAR BACK TO LIFE with FULL 100% FUNCTIONALITY, OPERATIONALITY, AND RELEVANCE.

As if that were not enough, President Tinubu today has given MARCHING ORDERS to NNPC to ensure the SWIFT completion of Warri and Kaduna refineries.

These developments indicate a president with the interests of Nigerians at heart.

And the aforementioned leaders, OBJ and Jonathan, need to give themselves a good, long, hard look in the mirror, and try to explain their uselessness to themselves.

A contract that was awarded by the Buhari led government at the sum of 1.5 million dollars in 2021.

If not for the series of failed testing arising from the obsolete mechanical parts that necessitated it's completion this year, the project would have been completed early last year.

A friend of mine that stays on my street was part and parcel of the team that partook in the maintenance.

The credit should go to Buhari notwithstanding it was completed in Tinubu's era.
Wrong. Tinubu could have come in and neglected the project, or delayed funding etc, but he ensured it was completed to the end, so you can also praise him for ensuring continuity in govt policy and projects.

But one earns higher in England compared to Nigeria
You also pay TEN TIMES HIGHER TAX AND BILLS compared to Nigeria.

If you make it in Nigeria, you live better than someone who has 'made it' in the UK.

In the UK even millionaires can't afford a chauffeur (driver). Or house-helps etc. Except those worth say over 50 to 100 million pounds+

With your 3 to 5 million pounds net worth, you will still wash your plate in the house after eating. Who dash you house boy?

In Nigeria an ordinary dude with a bit of pay can hire a driver and relax in the back seat, get a cook etc.

Even the house a British millionaire lives in looks no different from the ordinary houses there. Same Victorian design. Only slightly bigger. No architectural difference or innovation is done.

In Nigeria for the cost of ONE of those millionaire British houses, you can build three solid mansions with top notch, innovative, futuristic design, aesthetics, and fixtures, swimming pools, with more space, bigger rooms, drivers, gatemen, boys quarters, house help. etc.

Don't even get me started on the BALLING aspect.

Naija is headquarters of balling if you have that thing they call money.

Attending big boy parties in Banana Island.

Hanging with good folk.

Folk who vibe to your levels.

Abegi.

I've lived in UK and even US before.

If you have money Naija is FAR better.
