I can't understand why people are responding to that unserious fellow. It should be obvious that his only purpose here is to derail the thread and cause fights.

There is a historical fact, but this guy says that it is a lie, not based on any facts, but based on his assumptions that are totally devoid of facts and truth. Isn't it obvious what he is trying to do?

The Red Line is from Agbado (in Ogun State) to Marina. The first phase of the Red Line will be from Oyingbo to Agbado and that will be commissioned in the first quarter of next year.

It's the Blue Line that will stretch to Okokomaiko and construction of the second phase of the Blue Line will commence next year.

He is not a Yoruba man...

He is one of the people who the bri:tish brought from Sierra Leone and gave a Yoruba first name and they tagged him and a lot like him as returnee slaves..

If you read the post. you'll have seen the part below..

why were other Yorubas not living on the Marina because they were against the Br:itish and the br:itish did not empower instead the br:istish chose to go to another country ( Sierra Leone and maybe Brazil ) and get other black people and give them Yoruba first names and tag them as Yoruba and empower them instead of empowering indigenous Yorubas..

and even in this same thread it says "ordinary Lagosians" didn't have their own parks..

The good thing is the Dr R:andle had feelings for the indigenous Yorubas and sponsored and built infrastructure for the indigenes.. the good thing is he became Yorubanized and his generations also became Yorubanised.

Did you read the article? Where was he enslaved from? Who brought him from Sierra Leone?

The kind of things that you see on Nairaland because of ethnic and political differences!

Anyway, there is no need to take this kind of comment seriously.
