Politics › Ndume: APC Might Be Repeating The Same Mistakes PDP Made - Bashir Ahmad by naptu2(op): 5:51am On Jul 19, 2024
Bashir Ahmad @BashirAhmad

I am afraid that our party, the APC, is on the verge of repeating the mistakes made by the PDP between 2011 and 2015. As a political party, we should be open to welcoming individuals, especially those who can contribute to our electoral success, rather than doing the opposite.
Pearl

What is the mistake, let’s be transparent
Bashir Ahmad

Pushing its own members out of the party, thinking that it was bigger and didn’t need them or their contributions to continue succeeding.
Sola

Did “our party” repeat the mistakes made by the PDP between 2011 and 2015 when the same Ndume was removed as Senate leader in 2017?
Bashir Ahmad

Okay, Sola. It's fine, we are doing well. By the way, my comment was not even about Sen. Ndume’s removal as the Chief Whip in the Senate. My concern was the APC asking a member, a ranking senator, to resign from the party. Do you really think this is a good approach from a political party?
Sola

I agree they shouldn’t have included that part (asking him to leave the party).
Abdul-Aziz Na'ibi Abubakar

I'm afraid that they would soon ask you to resign, and you will be donated to Labour Party free of charge 😂
Bashir Ahmad

We don’t have Labour Party in our area oo.😂

It was a closed-door game, meaning no spectators or videos. The Canadians asked some people (including Nigerian journalists) who posted videos online to take them down.

(Canadian fans had been complaining that their football association was not posting anything about the game while some Nigerians were posting videos and pictures (they were praising the Nigerians).

The game was basically a practice match, which is why there was a penalty shootout after the match even though Canada won the game.
