People want to be spoonfed or should I call it mental laziness?

The SSS recently arrested some people because of comments that they made about wars in the Middle East. The SSS was right.

I have the posts that these people made and it's very easy for anybody that genuinely wants to see the posts to find them (I'm not going to spoon feed anyone).

There's a difference between criticism and comments that threaten action, especially when it is clear that you have the ability to carry out that action.

If you've trained as a soldier and you've travelled to the Middle East in the past and you constantly create posts in which you

A) Claim that Gazans are your family

B) Claim that you will get revenge for what happened to your family and nothing will stop you.

C) Claim that you will unalive a foreign leader

Then you should be picked up.

If you go further and announce that

A) You will join a foreign terrrorist organisation.

B) You express happiness about a terrorist attack in Australia and you praise the terrorist that carried out the attack

C) You threaten to carry out your own terrorist attack

Then you deserve to be picked up.

If you threaten other Nigerians by

A) Praising the murder of Deborah

B) Threatening to murder other Nigerians the way that Deborah was murdered.

C) Threaten to do something to people if they do not convert to your religion

Then you deserve to be picked up.

Furthermore, if you threaten the government of Nigeria by

A) Threatening to harm the president

Then you deserve to be picked up

You see, there are people on my threads that say that the guy did not do anything wrong. They say that it shouldn't be a crime to criticise Israel and that people are also criticising Iran, yet they are not being arrested.

Some (as usual) are trying to make political capital out of it. They are claiming that the guy was not arrested because of criticism of Israel but rather because of criticism of Bola Tinubu.

All these people are missing the point.

As I said, you'll find out that asymmetric warfare is terrible if the US sends in ground troops. Remember Iraq? The people that the US were fighting at the beginning of the war were not the same people that they fought after the war began.

The point is that a lot of foreigners will pour into Iran to fight and that guy, with his military training, with his specific threats (he actually tweeted that he was ready to fight) was a security risk. This is not about just criticism, this is about threatening to take action when you clearly have the ability to take that action.

What sort of posts? Maybe for posting guns, or explosives, or for threatening to cause mayhem, but not for being a desenting voice.

People castigate and insult Trump everyday, they are not arrested. Even the Somali women that were telling Trump to shut up during his state of the union address were not arrested for that, because there is freedom of speech but just post that you want to bomb something or you want to attack someone and see the FBI, CIA and all the PDs at your doorstep.

That's exactly the case with Abubakar Affan.

Meanwhile Abubakar Affan is in court (his case is more serious).

Following my interaction with the relevant security agencies, I have reflected on some of my past tweets and recognize that the tone may have come across stronger than intended. My comments were made in the context of online political commentary, not out of hostility toward any country or its people.

I deeply respect the longstanding relationship between Nigeria and the United States @USinNigeria , as well as other friendly nations, and the many Nigerians who live, work, and thrive in those countries.

Where my words were misunderstood or caused offence, I sincerely regret that. As a patriot, I remain committed to promoting peace, mutual respect, and the security of our dear country while continuing to advocate for a better future for all.

I appreciate all the well-meaning Nigerians and friends who have stood by me during this phase of my first encounter with the security authorities, and I commend the professionalism shown, as well as the respect accorded to me by the personnel throughout the process. I do not take this support for granted.

Election things. They do anything to be close to the electorate when election is near.

It's not election. They are restarting the monthly environmental sanitation. They've been planning this for almost 2 years.

The Buhari Government started the monthly environmental sanitation programme as part of its War Against Indiscipline (WAI) campaign.

However, someone sued the Lagos State Government because of the restriction of movement and therefore the programme was stopped.

The Lagos State Government has had meetings and online sessions with Lagosians over the past 2 years about restarting the programme.

This was the kick off of the programme (however there will be no restriction of movement).

I use threads like this to find them.

You say the sun is shining. The discussion should be about whether the sun is shining or not.

But these people will reply with Tinubu, Obi, Muslim, Christian, PDP, APC.

What does that have to do with whether the sun is shining?

I immediately block such people (and I always will).

I create a thread about Muhammad Ali being inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame and you come to derail the thread by insulting Prophet Muhammad, what do you think will happen to you?

I create a thread about music and you come there to shout "Tinubu! Tinubu! Tinubu"! What do you think will happen to you?

Anybody that comes to derail my threads with

Religious

Partisan political

Ethnic

nonsense will be blocked.

Anybody that comes to my thread, ignores the topic of my thread and decides to insult or attack me will be blocked.

I have always said that the trolls just want my attention. They want to provoke me. They create threads and posts to cry when I block them because they are frustrated that they can't get my attention.

Blocking them makes me happy and I will keep doing it.
