So contrary to many opinions as to why I haven't come out to clear the air on the defamation of my wife's character on this issue, you will all please bear with me as I needed some real good time to properly analyze all aspects of it and come up with a best solution to all of these bickerings that has been happening since I announced my wife to the world. This Harrasment has continued from my engagement news where they began with false allegations that my wife was older than I am and was controlling my decisions like leaving The johnsons, to blatant lies that she was called my class captain, and now for over a year these trolls have further bear false witness to the point where they question my wife's unquestionable fidelity to me, and ultimately bullying my innocent son who they have planned to grow and meet these false allegations.
This is the very reason why a lot of famous and prestigious people crave for private lives. It is because lately, quite a number of young people on social media (as we have observed from the comments and all) are mostly dysfunctional and insensitive youths with the confidence in their false witness when they display their disrespect for others in societies where there is a huge lacuna of societal leadership. This clearly as in this case of @gossipbobo , whom in sharing his misinformed opinion about our lives in public to the detriment of their mental health, relates to the almost impossible art of most Nigerians who can easily die from not "minding their own business". Honestly, I'm hurt and for the sake of being a proper boy from the streets of surulere, I know how to find justice there but for the same of my emotional maturity, I have found more decent and honourable ways to handle this lingering issue, from the various powers I know in the Judicial/security sector. As we speak a national security advisor, a Magistrate of the supreme court and my wife's legal advisor are on top of the matter.
Thankfully, we have found a few scapegoats to use in warning others to stay away.
This is the second year in a row that Oshoala's goal would be voted goal of the week on match day 1 of the UEFA Women's Champions League group stage. Her shot was voted goal of the week last year.
Chelsea fans are furious and they've attacked all UEFA's social media accounts. They say that Real Madrid's penalty (through which they scored their equalising second goal) was not a penalty (contact was outside the box) and the referee disallowed what would have been Chelsea's third goal due to an offside call, but nobody was actually offside.
Here are the nominees for the UEFA Women's Champions League goal of the week.
1) Asisat Oshoala of Barcelona (Barcelona vs Benfica). 2) Maria Mikolajova of St Polten (St Polten vs Brann) 3) Sam Kerr of Chelsea (Real Madrid vs Chelsea) 4) Sara Dabritz of Lyon (Slavia Prague vs Lyon)
Praxis758: Meanwhile, some news before now said Buhari recommended Prof Dora Akunyili to OBJ.
Which of the sides should we believe?
The truth is Prof Dora performed excellently well as NAFDAC DG and remained the best. And she’s also one of the best minister of information we’ve ever had.
She narrated the whole story in a TV interview. The interviewer said that Buhari recommended her for the job, but she interrupted and corrected him. She said that it was Obasanjo's friend, Dr Onaolapo Soleye that recommended her. Then she told the story.
She said that she was ill in 1997 and doctors recommended that she should go abroad for treatment. PTF (where she worked) sponsored the trip. I've forgotten how much they gave her, but it was in pounds sterling. For some reason, she didn't spend all the money (I think it had something to do with what the doctors discovered). She returned the balance to the PTF.
General Buhari, who was head of PTF, was shocked when she returned the money. He said that she could have taken the money and nobody would have known. He gave her a public commendation.
Dr Onaolapo Soleye called her one day and told her that President Obasanjo was looking for someone to revive NAFDAC and he had recommended her. He asked if she would be interested in the job. She was interested.
She didn't hear from him for a long time, then he called her one day and said that people were lobbying for the job and some people had told President Obasanjo that she wasn't a pharmacist. She exclaimed that she was a pharmacist and she told him about her degrees and experience. He told her to send her CV to him.
She didn't hear from him after that.
Then one day someone called her and said that he was Olusegun Obasanjo. She initially thought that it was a prank, but it was really him. He asked her if she would accept the job of NAFDAC DG and the rest is history.
