Iran now is unilaterally deciding that only India, Pakistan, China, Russia, Iraq and Bangladesh can pass the strait without transit toll. All other countries, (especially US and Israel allies), must pay $2m equivalent or don't bother coming close.

Iran sent shockwaves to the established petrodollar system by determining the transaction currency for its own oil sales - Chinese Yuan. A system that has not been questioned through military force by any nation on earth since 1973.

Iran made all the US bases around its territory completely uninhabitable by US forces, leaving all GCC countries scrambling for defensive cover and assistance from Ukraine.

You can't really tell who did it at the moment, I am seeing anti-regime put out propaganda that it's the IRGC, the IRGC said its the US and Israeli forces. The US and Israeli said they are looking into it.

In the past we saw hamas bomb themselves and blamed Israel, we saw Iran bring down a jetliner and blamed the US when Sulemani was killed. In Russia we saw their air defence missiles misfire into civilian buildings and they blamed Ukraine.
