Oct3 Truss has ‘worst’ approval of UK PM since 2010 – poll A survey shows that she is less popular than Boris Johnson before his resignation British Prime Minister Liz Truss’ personal approval rating is lower than her predecessor Boris Johnson’s was right before he was forced to resign this year, a recent Opinium/Observer poll has shown. According to the survey of 2,000 people, which was conducted between September 28 and 30 and released on Saturday, only 18% of Britons approve of the job Truss is doing, and 55% disapprove. This places her net approval at -37, down from -9 a week ago, which is worse than the -28 that Johnson had in the final Opinium poll before he stepped down as Tory leader in July. “This is the worst poll result we have shown for a Conservative prime minister since the 2010 general election,” James Crouch, the head of policy and public affairs at Opinium, told The Guardian. Liz Truss has managed to reach the depths of the poor personal ratings of both Theresa May and Boris Johnson at the end of their tenure, within weeks of taking office and within days of her government’s first major action. The poll came out as the government is looking for ways to tackle inflation and soaring energy prices. It has responded to the crisis by increasing the caps on energy prices. Truss argued that the measure will stop average annual household bills from rising next year to as high as £6,500, a figure estimated by experts. Protests against the increasing cost of living, during which people publicly burned their utility bills, were held across the UK on Saturday. A former foreign secretary, Truss took over from Johnson in September after winning the Tory leadership race. Johnson stepped down after officials in his cabinet resigned en masse due to disagreements over economic recovery policies and several controversies, such as the flouting of Covid-19 quarantine rules by senior government members, including Johnson himself. |

Russia has the military might(which is why unlike Libya, Iraq and other weak countries, NATO has been unable to invade Russia). China has the economic might. Politics is war without bloodshed and war is politics with bloodshed. The decline of the West led by the US has been rapid. China remains the most developed country in the world and continues to advance in all areas of development (human, infrastructure, technology) etc. The West led by the US is a faded empire which fell like the Roman empire. Thanks to Russia, China and India (the current champions/super powers). This is the birth of a multipolar world. |

Foreign Affairs / Russian Hypersonic Missiles Superior To Anything Nato’s Got, French Media Says by NATOPresident: 10:42am On Oct 03, 2022 |
Russia and China became the first countries to field strategic hypersonic weapons systems, with Moscow putting the Kinzhal (‘Dagger’) missile into operation in late 2017, and the People’s Liberation Army following suit by unveiling the DF-ZF hypersonic glide vehicle in 2019. The US expects delivery of its first hypersonic weapons in 2023. Russian hypersonic missile systems are more advanced than anything being fielded by the North Atlantic Alliance today, France’s Le Figaro has reported, echoing sentiments expressed by Russia’s president in a speech last week. The French newspaper characterized Russia’s hypersonic weaponry as its main strategic asset, capable of flying at incredible speeds and maneuvering while in flight. It pointed specifically to the Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle – a weapon deployable as a part of a multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) payload aboard Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles. “In this specific area, Russia is indeed one step ahead of its NATO adversaries,” the Gaullist newspaper conceded. The paper added that Russia and China proceeded to develop hypersonic missiles in response to NATO’s efforts to construct a missile defense shield. “Russia undoubtedly has more modern weapons than the NATO countries. The United States has lagged behind in the field of hypersonic missiles, and Moscow’s nuclear arsenal is being replenished with more powerful and destructive projectiles,” Igor Delanoe, deputy director of the Moscow-based Franco-Russian Observatory, said. In his speech announcing partial mobilization last month, Vladimir Putin accused Western officials of discussing “the possibility and admissibility of using weapons mass destruction – nuclear weapons – against Russia.” “I would like to remind those who make such statements regarding Russia that our country has different types of weapons as well, and some of them are more modern than the weapons NATO countries have. In the event of a threat to the territorial integrity of our country and to defend Russia and our people, we will certainly make use of all weapon systems available to us. This is not a bluff,” Putin said. The Russian president unveiled five new strategic weapons in a speech to lawmakers in 2018, among them the Kinzhal and the Avangard, plus the Poseidon nuclear-powered and nuclear-armed drone submarine, and the 9M730 Burevestnik (‘Petrel’) nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed cruise missile. The Chinese military also possesses hypersonic weapons. In August, Russian-Indian defense joint venture BrahMos announced that it may create a hypersonic missile by 2027 or 2028. North and South Korea, France, Japan, Australia and India are also researching the cutting-edge class of weaponry. The Pentagon has tasked US defense contractors with developing at least six hypersonic weapons designs for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and DARPA’s Operational Fires program, but to date none have been fielded. The US military has also pitched laser and dust-firing flak guns meant to defeat Russian and Chinese hypersonics, as well as the use of stratospheric balloons to monitor and track their launch. Russia got a head start on its hypersonics program thanks to Soviet-era research in the field starting in the early 2000s, after the Bush administration unilaterally scrapped of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty – a 1972 Soviet-US agreement which placed severe limitations on the creation of anti-ballistic missile defenses and intended to stop the arms race. Russia’s military doctrine forbids nuclear weapons from being used unless the country is targeted by enemy nuclear attack first, or a conventional attack so severe that it is deemed to threaten the existence of the state. The United States does not place such restrictions on its nukes, and “reserves the right to use” them on a preemptive basis, even against non-nuclear armed adversaries. https://sputniknews.com/20221002/russian-hypersonic-missiles-superior-to-anything-natos-got-french-media-says-1101439924.html |

Foreign Affairs / Ruble Will Become Official Currency In Former Ukrainian Regions by NATOPresident: 10:31am On Oct 03, 2022 |
The hryvnia will be accepted for payment until December 31. The Russian ruble is set to become the official currency for the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, the former Ukrainian territories that voted to join Russia in a referendum earlier this week. According to the press service of Russia’s State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation, the Ukrainian hryvnia will be accepted for payments in the regions until December 31. However, starting January 1, the ruble will be the only currency accepted. “The ruble will be the monetary unit on the territories of the new [Russian] regions. Until December 31, 2022, the Ukrainian hryvnia will be accepted for cash and non-cash payments. The Bank of Russia will be empowered to establish the specifics of credit and non-credit financial institutions operation,” the press service said in a statement on Sunday. The DPR and LPR broke off from Kiev and had been de facto independent territories since 2014. Kherson and Zaporozhye declared independence from Ukraine earlier this year. All four territories voted in favor of joining Russia in referendums held between September 23 and 27. The Russian Constitutional Court ruled on Sunday that the treaties on the accession of the territories to Russia are in full accordance with the constitution, and the next step to make them part of Russia is for the documents to be ratified by both houses of the Russian parliament. The votes on this are expected to pass in the coming days. |

There has been protests, unrest, riots, uprisings and multiple changes of regime across Europe. The global Western domination led by the US has been lost. China is the most developed country in the world. The West led by the US is in a self destructive mode, has collapsed and China just has to watch the continued rapid decline of the West. |
