Thank you boss. So which insurance company do you recommend?
Business / Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by NawtieNerd(m): 2:08pm On Nov 26, 2020
Good afternoon bosses. Is there any Insurance company that you guys recommend for a Uber Driver. I gave my car to a driver & i really thinking about getting comprehensive insurance. The problem is the lady I spoke with at Axa Mansard says that none of their insurance plans cover vehicles used for Uber. I.e if i want to make a claim & they find out the car was used for Uber, they won't pay. I also spoke to someone at iei but I suspect that he is a marketer eager to close the deal. He just agrees to anything I say.

So please which insurance companies do you recommend, or does everyone wing it ?

Thank you for your help.

Hello bosses, I want to start an Uber business in Lagos. I already have a driver in mind. Please what is the current average weekly delivery in Lagos. I don't want give my driver an amount that would leave him with nothing at the end of the week or where he will be struggling to pay and I also want to avoid a situation where I am being shortchanged.

Thank you all in advance

While paying your fees, your student email will automatically be at the PAYERS EMAIL (which you can change to your initial email).
After copying that, proceed to Gmail login and input your student email as Username then "password" as password. Then it'll direct you to change password...
That's it.

boss, I tried it just as you said, didn't work.

pls help me oooo. i paid my tuition fee with master card debit card(gtb) but to my utmost my money was deducted twice. pls what can i do to retrieve my money?

your bank should reverse the 2nd debit within 24 hours, if they don't do that to go to any Gtbank & fill a Debit reversal form. hope you have queried remita on the school portal & the payment has reflected on your portal

However, I've only paid the school fees while the accommodation fee is yet to be paid. Now the deadline is almost over and I still haven't paid and I can't pay anymore until Monday. cry Can I still pay after the expiration or what do I do?

the deadline is 30th of April, I believe

Hello peeps , I saw a post on this group recently by someone that said he has verified all the fresher's in this group and discovered that they were all humble people that came from an average family,he said they shouldn't come to UI and be forming as if they were Dangote's children or behaving somehow arrogant when they resume........ some looks at the post as a comedy while some were touched in the heart via the post. well,it's something that shouldn't be overlooked when talking about school life . To those that will be resuming for new session next week,I will URGE you all to put on the amour of humility irrespective of your background status either you came from a wealthy family or not! The undeniable facts there is that people will always look on you the way you compose yourself at the first stance. if you are a typical person that likes bragging at all the time, then People will limit their interaction with you and I'm sure you know its aftermath. Therefore,I will implore you to low yourself even if your father is the V.C of U.I. after all no one is an island of knowledge! The Holy Bible even buttress it in Matthew 23:12 "And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted" As a result of these ensure to always remember the son of who you are! Here are some of the benefit and significance of being humble, meek, modest and submissive at school: You will be highly exalted by God You will receive favour in the sight of God and man. Door of opportunities will be opened to you You will never be in want You will be free to exercise and characterized your real nature. Saying your mind to your colleagues won't be a problem You will be admired by many especially if you are jovial To request for help financially or academically won't be a problem for you To dine with your colleagues when you are broke will be easier for you especially if you are brilliant people will like to relate and associate with you most especially if you are intelligent person or a comedian People will be free to talk to you and you will also be free to talk to people You will be free to ask a question or seek for an explanation from your colleagues if needs be. Also, ensure you have means whereby you acquire money you must not depend on your parents everytime. They shouldn't be the one that must send money to you to buy everything you needs in the school. You can help your self financially by: playing instrument at an event place if you are talented with any musical instrument such as Drum set, talking drum, keyboard, saxophone etc. You can be plaiting hair for your colleagues, writ ing note ,selling petty products, ,offering computer and internet works ,earning money with the work you learn and so on. I believe by God's grace we shall achieve our primary aim at the University.(FIRST CLASS) From your fellow colleague. # PAULISM

Guy chill. there is no link at all.. you haven't been given your matric no nor assigned your hot yet. once they do that. you will see it on your dash board

who here has paid their fees? Did you buy any PIN from the bank to post the fees? If yes, how much? We need a brief description of the steps you followed to make payments please

I paid today & it reflected today. I paid at my bank. I have been trying to pay online for sometime now but after putting my card details, the remita platform keeps saying processing transaction. so wrote down the RRR reference number for accommodation & bundled fees (levies & GES) .
I went to Gtbank to pay through remita directly from my account but you can also pay cash. you can also go to any other bank to pay, just tell them you want to pay through remita v& give them the RRR reference number. after you pay go to the school portal & query remita before you login

Nltaliban:

We acknowledged whatever reasons that made the management arrived at an increment as relatively justifiable but tried to reach a compromise much lower than the 30k; about 18k-20k.

The Management in its defence of its decision; largely because it no longer receives funds from the fed govt to fund and maintain the halls were resolute in their stand but after much pleading, bargaining and complaints, the VC promised that the senate will review its decision and get back to us soon.

We hope they get back to us earlier before the proposed date of resumption and if not, in the words of the VC himself, "if the meeting isn't held next week then resumption will be postponed till we get a response from them".

UItes are hereby urged to await the response from the Senate before any payment of school fees or accommodation is made.

Too bad the greater part of students are not on NL.... Especially we the new students, I don't know about the others, but the ones I am touch with, we just wanna resume... not that we love the new fees but we are not attached to the old ones like the rest of you guys. I bet you, the only thing stopping most freshers is that "Authority to Pay" ... Especially when the V.C keeps saying the Halls of residence only takes about 30% of students, most of us are from out of town, we don't have friends yet we can squat with if we don't get to be among that 30%...

Let's be calm. We'll all be cleared, remember, you have paid your fees. All is well

true bro. I haven't given it much thought from that angle. but another problem is that without being cleared we can't print "Authority to Pay" . with the halls of residence only able to accommodate 30% of students. my worry is that by the time we are cleared all available rooms would have been paid for & allocated
