That's not true. Isreal's Iron Dome isn't a defence against ballistic missiles. With the number of missiles Iran has fired into Isreal so far, most Isreali cities are supposed to be in rubbles. No one said the Iron Dome is complete bullet proof. The Iranians know most of their missiles will be intercepted so they fired at will to overload it. Not one Isreali military base, supply base or major military infrastructure has been hit yet

Why is the govt intent on blaming the attacked community. First they claimed cattle rustling and herders- farmer clash was responsible and the Tor Tiv and villagers cleared the air and called it exactly what it is a genocidal attack which is unprovoked and now they are trying to sell the narrative that the villagers harboured the attackers. So if the attackers came to the village unarmed to mingle and interact are the villagers supposed to suspect everyone who comes to their community

What Iran is doing is try to overwhelm Isreali defence system by firing as many missiles as possible. The defence system will intercept majority of the missiles but some will still hit their targets that's why despite the 100s of missiles fired into Isreal, the damages hasn't been decisive compared to the number of missiles fired. Isreali planes are in Iranian skies targeting key infrastructure while Iran have just been shooting blindly
