What airline...Turkish airline i guess, you have to go to their office in Leadway plaza in central area Abuja...they use bank rate, they don't use black market rate...if you are student, and below 30, go to their office with your admission letter and passport data page, you will get student discount.

I don't have any personal experience, but from my research, you don't need a transit visa.

According to the UK Gov, you are exempted if
"you have a uniform format category D visa for entry to a country in the EEA or Switzerland"

Hence the Polish visa is a National D visa, you don't need a UK transit visa.

You can confirm this on gov dot uk.

Sorry to hear about your denial. First of All I will tell u flat I believe your denial has NOTHING to do with the date on your sponsorship letter not tallying with the date it was notarized. A sponsor can decide to type out a letter of sponsorship on one day and notarize at a later date . I do not see anything wrong with that and I believe they embassy doesn’t see anything wrong with that either.

On the other hand please note when you get a denial based on number 3. It’s due to ONE of the following reasons:

- Insufficient funds (I.e funds were not enough to cover your expenses)

- embassy was unable to verify your financial documents.

- you did not provide complete financial documents

- you did not provide the correct financial documents

- you provided scan copies of your financial documents instead of the original as requested by the embassy (e.g u provided certificate of employment or CC or sponsorship letter as a scan copy and not the original )

Number 3 has nothing to do with extension letter so please forget about extension letter in your case,

Need to see your financial docs to advise further.

Actually he needs an extension letter from his school since the resumption date is on the 1st which is just friday next tomorrow and him never appeal yet...so there is a need for him to get it to show the embassy that once he gets his visa, he can still go to school this section.

Hello, please i also got denied for number 3 and from my investigation, it looks like my sponsorship letter was the issue because notarization date was different from the date it was signed. My question is when appealing with a a proper sponsorship letter with matching notarization date, do i also need to:
1. Request another certificate of employment from the same sponsor? Even though the embassy still has the other one i submitted?
2. I submitted payslips for may, jun,jul with my first application. Should i submit just August when appealing or resubmit Jun, July and august?
3. Can i add a new sponsor (even though they earn less than the original one) Original was 700k, additional sponsor will be 300k.
4. Do i need an extension letter from school if expected date of arrival is October 1 and lectures commence October 25?

Please I'll appreciate your help on this.

Pls you can't be denied because notarization date was different from the date it was signed.....my document was signed by my sponsor on 6th August and Notarized on 13th August and I got my Visa.....so that can't be the problem.....check well.

Do your authentication at both ministry of education and mi sorry of foreign affairs before you proceed to the embassy for legalization. You have to do for O level, BSC and transcript.

No need for O'level if you are going for masters

My collection date was on 20th Monday, I went they asked me to come on Wednesday that it wasn't ready, I went on Wednesday, they asked us to write our name and return the next day Thursday, so they added to just us on Thursday(the people that wrote their names on Wednesday) ...

Even If you have 10 million as your finance and you booked a month accomodation, you will still get No. 3.
Probably you don't really know much how this refusal thing operate that is why your having wrong perspectives.
For instance You say your sponsor is sponsoring you throughout your study period and you have just hotel booking for a month.
How will they be convinced you would get accommodation for the rest of the months plus under what basis would they calculate the monthly rent vis a vis your sponsor document.
And did he tell you he didn't submit sponsor letter?
Before you make conclusions investigate the issues very well before passing judgments.
The people giving bad advice you couldn't even spot them.
That is how you would have made him do appeal without spotting the issue and he would come back with same issue.
Most people do think that no.3 denial is based on funds alone. If u don't know 5m is more than sufficient for him ..all those mathematical calculation of second year tuition and others is unnecessary.

Oga sorry to say but everything you wrote here i no de even understand.....did he tell you that he paid for a one month accommodation or you are just assuming assistant counselor.. I pray the guy no listen to you shaa..because he fit no get his visa if him follow your advice...

Have you gotten admission yet? If yes, just come to Abuja and authenticate and go back, it will take about 2 days or so depending...then go back to Lagos, when you get your visa appointment, you can legalize on your appointment day

If No and you have to use the legalized documents for your school application, try and authenticate b4 a Friday, go to the embassy on a Friday morning with your 30 euros for each document and hustle and beg someone that also came for legalization, you definitely tip the person, so they help you do it.

Ask that you want to open a Cashback Credit card....you fund the account with millions of naira, then they issue the certificate when ever you are ready to go to the embassy for your appointment

Your refusal could also be due to your length of accommodation booking plus how u filled your form.
But since you already have CC of 5m, why sponsorship letter again
You are only making your application vague and compiling documents which the consular doesn't av much time to see. He might also not see the rest documents very well because you compound your application with extraneous documentation.
Less than 5 million is sufficient.

Oga you are wrong...very bad advice..he needs the sponsorship letter/ Affidavit of support because someone is sponsoring him...biko no give wrong information. Pls he said his refusal is number 3, which is insufficient funds, how length of accommodation follow enter the reply for insufficient funds. Well.... I hope he gets advice from ppl that won't confuse him shaa....I come in peace.
