Computers / Re: Post All Your Projector & Screen Problems Here by Nduxzy: 4:30pm On Oct 03, 2014
Thanks for the prompt reply
like how much will the IC cost?
Am not currently with the projector but Its Sony the exact make i can't ascertain for now
Teknireich:

Hi,

First things first...zero out spending so much to repair a Projector. Comparing the N80K to the cost of a new projector...a new projector is way better.

Now should you have to spend so much? No.

What the repairer just intended doing, was not not to repair the projector at all but to just switch the board of another PJ with that of yours and couple back the whole thing.

Generally, Sony Projectors have this problem. The problem of them remaining in standby mode is because of a faulty IC on your board.

If you use a SONY VPL-CS4 Projector....then I recommend you go through this article I have used often for some repair works.
Check it out....Click here...http://janburke.de/index.php/blog-en/121-fixing-sony-vpl-cs4-projector

So how do you implement it?
grin Go through the article.
cheesy Locate the exact IC on your board, that means you should be brave enough to open up your projector.
cool Then let me know the name of your Projector...we can check Computer Village for the IC itself or we just order it online....as PAYPAL works in Nigeria now.
grin Then we can just take it an electronic guy to help with the soldering.

Easy bah....Let me know what you feel.

We have a Big Sony projector
while using it PHCN switch off the light suddenly and after i switch on the gen, the projector refuse to switch on. It will only show standby light and then try to switch on and go off
I took it to someone who said the problem is with the board and it will cost about #80000 to buy the board
is it reasonable fixing it or buying a new one

I wish i were you
At 23, that's a blessing
By the time your kids are graduates
And you are still a young man
Then you will appreciate what you did to yourself
Only thing holding me back is a job

Jennylove, I doubt if you have ever fallen in love. You may not have felt like there's this one person you can't live without. Whose smile keeps you smiling and whose approval you value. That something went wrong (which can be remedied) does not negate the beauty of young love.
I married at 23 and more than 20 years later I am
Still very happy with my decision. I prefer being unhappy with my spouse than being alone. We didn't marry to please family or society.
Getting married is a gift we gave to ourselves

You sure can't get tired of FIREPROOF especially if a happy home means a lot to you!
elidi: most Nigeria Christian movie is nothing but a contradiction of true Christianity. films produced by people who have no good spiritual insight into divinity and there use there human experience and try to explain spiritual things.

Try watch Fireproof, its an american relationship movie and it talks about love. Its a great movie which I have watched more than 6 times with eaçh time gàiñng something new

Romance / Re: Wife Material: Intelligent Girl Or Gentle Girl by Nduxzy: 9:50am On Jul 23, 2014
Gentility here have largely been seen as timidity which in some cases may be right. Gentility when seen as Humility does not necessarily connote cowardice, like someone rightly said it even takes intelligence to be gentle.
Allow me to digress a little a certain coach who won the EPL last season has the nickname "THE GENTLE ONE"
Romance / Re: Wife Material: Intelligent Girl Or Gentle Girl by Nduxzy: 9:39am On Jul 23, 2014
Even GENTLEmimi goes with Intelligence, and that's Intelligent!
GentleMimi: Intelligent woman all the way,no argument there.
I'll choose intelligence over gentility. Gentle peeps could be wickedly dangerous, you know? The intelligent woman knows how to handle situations as it deems fit. The man can go out and confidently leave his home in the intelligent woman's care.
The intelligent woman influences the children too. Makes them smart and active.
God forbid, but if the man passes away, the intelligence of the woman is needed for her children to make it in life with the few available resources.
The intelligent woman is not necessarily bossy or arrogant, just a lady who knows what she wants and then goes about achieving it in the easiest ways possible.
The man cannot be at his peak at all times in terms of mental capability. Sometimes,he needs a mentally strong woman to give him the required push.
Note: it is only strong men that take up the challange of an intelligent woman. Weak men want ''gentle'' pushovers, whom they can control like puppets on strings.

Culture / Re: African Time: The Bug In Our Systems by Nduxzy: 1:29pm On Jul 21, 2014
That's Very Correct!
rman: Nice article.

If I am meeting someone for the first time and they actually conform with African time idea, I will never take such an individual serious.

A few people still keep to time, and I have noticed if you are opportuned to meet one, they are also good at what they do.

In fact, show me a man that keeps to time in Nigeria and I will show a man that is well on his way to become successful very soon. It is a core requirement of having integrity in my books
Culture / Re: African Time: The Bug In Our Systems by Nduxzy: 1:08pm On Jul 21, 2014
That's the point!
If you are organizing a programme scheduled for 7am start immediately it's 7am by the time you make it a culture late comers will adjust!
bunmioguns: I once remember a lecturer back then, if he should organise a class at 7:00 am and you are now coming at 7:01 am, you will stay outside throughout the lecture... when we realised that he doesn't tolerate nonsense... we don't have choice than to abide by his rules...

the point I am driving at is that, let our leaders lead by example....
