The Global Peace Photo Award recognizes and promotes photographers from all over the world whose pictures capture human efforts towards a peaceful world and the quest for beauty and goodness in our lives. The award goes to those photographs that best express the idea that our future lies in peaceful coexistence.

Photographische Gesellschaft (PHG) and Edition Lammerhuber, in partnership with UNESCO, the Austrian Parliament, the Austrian Parliamentary Reporting Association, the International Press Institute (IPI) and the World Press Photo Foundation invites application for the Global Peace Photo Award in 2020.

The Alfred Fried Photography Award will be held under the new name Global Peace Photo Award, inspired by 1911 Nobel Peace Laureates Alfred Fried and Tobias Asser.

Worth of Award
The top five listed photographers will be awarded the Alfred Fried Peace Medal. The Peace Image of the Year will receive €10,000.
The winning picture will be on display for one year at the Austrian Parliament and will be included in the permanent art collection of the Austrian Parliament.
All winners will be invited to Vienna to the award ceremony at the Austrian Parliament on 17 September 2020.

Eligibility
The Global Peace Photo Award is open to all photographers from anywhere in the world.
Digital submissions must be saved as .jpg, with more than 3000 pixels on the longest side.
Images must not include any embedded marks, logos, names or borders.
Photographs that are part of reportage on a topic must not be manipulated in a way that changes the meaning of the picture.
For other entries, they accept digitally edited images and photomontages if they serve to explore a theme creatively.
All digitally edited images must make clear what has been done to them in the captions that accompany the images.
You may enter several photographs as individual submissions without an overall theme. Or you can submit up to 20 photographs as one story.
The photographs must not be older than three years at the time when the call for entry opens.

You can make changes to your entries or delete them at any time prior to the deadline.
You need to finalize and submit your entry before the entry deadline.

INVITATION FOR TENDER AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) TENDER PACKAGE NO. – FMARD/PROC/2020/001

The Federal Government of Nigeria has provided funds in the 2020 Appropriation Act for the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMA&RD). The Ministry, in pursuance of the Federal Government’s Agricultural policies aimed at improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians, desires to utilize part of the funds to procure Goods, Works, and Services in various parts of the country.
To this end, experienced and reputable Suppliers, Contractors, and Consultant/Service Providers are hereby invited to tender for the underlisted projects. CHECK UNDERLISTED INVITATION FOR TENDER PROJECTS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Interested and competent Contractors, Suppliers, and Service Providers/Consultants wishing to carry out any of the projects listed above are required to submit the following documents. Failure to fulfill any of the under-listed requirements will render a bid, disqualified:

Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Forms CAC2 and CAC7 (or CAC 1.1); or Business Name where applicable;
Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate (or Personal Income Tax Clearance Certificates for all the Partners) for the last three (3) years valid till 31st December, 2020, with a minimum average annual turnover as stated in Category B& grin

Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020;
Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31stDecember, 2020;
Evidence of current Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020;
Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 30 June, 2020 or valid Certificate issued by BPP;
Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars;
Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years, 2017, 2018, 2019;
Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of Reference Letter from a reputable Commercial Bank in Nigeria, indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed;
Company’s Profile with Curriculum Vitae of relevant Key Staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/Professional Qualifications (e.g. COREN, ARCON, CORBON, SURCON, QSRBN etc. for Works);
Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Award, Valuation/Job Completion Certificates and Photographs of the projects;
List of Plants/Equipment with Proof of Ownership/Lease Agreement for Works;
For Consultancy Services: Evidence of Firm’s registration with relevant professional body(ies)
For Supply of Equipment: Letter of Authorization from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs);
For Joint Venture/Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be provided (CAC, Tax Clearance, Pension Compliance Certificate, ITF Compliance Certificate, NSITF, IRR and Sworn Affidavit are compulsory for each Joint Venture partner);
For offtakers of Briquetting Machines: Name, Address, Phone Numbers of the farm or Rice Milling Site, Membership of Rice Millers/Farmers Association of Nigeria or relevant Registered Association (The recommended square meters for installation is 5m x 10m and the entrance of installation place should be 2m high and 3m wide).
All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding Letter under the Company/Firms Letter Headed Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM Number), and E-mail Address. The Letter Headed Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the Company; and

COLLECTION OF BIDS DOCUMENTS

Categories A & B (Goods and Works):
Interested Companies are to collect the Standard Bidding Document (SBD) from the Ministerial Tenders Board Secretariat, Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Wing F, Ground Floor, Room F001, FCDA Secretariat Complex, Area 11, Garki- Abuja, on evidence of payment of a non- refundable Tender fee of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only, per Lot, paid into the Remita Account/ TSA of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in any reputable Commercial Bank in Nigeria (The TSA Account Number is to be obtained from the Ministry’s Central Pay Office).

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
(5.1) Categories A&B – Goods and Works:
