Alternatively, connect an otg cable to your phone and connect your mouse to the cable. Then use your mouse to navigate through the phone.

Can you also use your phone to take pictures of the redmi 4a?

Gosh, I really feel stupid.....I don't know anything about this technical stuff....where will I find d kernel version icon? I already ordered for the screen sef, I just hope I didn't waste money...

Unfortunately, it doesn't work dat way, dey store the imei of each phone they send out, so u can't use yours for another, best u can do is to check up stores that sell d parts and get one, wud check and revert

According to the guy, you don't av to tell them u want to return the phone....just send them videos of the malfunctioning and tell them you want part refund for repair or some.... can't really explain it in a text.

So I went to slot today and I was referred to a xiaomi staff somewhere in Ikeja and found out that twas an hardware problem and not software iish....so I messaged dreami store to see if there was anything they could do about it, they didn't reply......the xiaomi guy made me understand that they havent started selling 4a in Nigeria yet, therefore they don't have the spare parts yet but they had spare parts for redmi 4 and some others........so he adviced that I look for someone who just ordered a 4a and let the person open a dispute on my behalf claiming its the phone he ordered so I can get either a new screen from them or part refund.....I dunno if you guys get that.

After reseting the phone. there was little improvement......then I updated it and it went back to the way twas I.e with the screen issues

It actually has nothing to do with screen guard.
It's just a software bug.

I have tried oning and offing ooo, it worked for a while and then stopped.....

This is what happens.....the screen presses itself, the home screen buttons don't work at times....and sometimes the whole screen doesn't even respond at all........
