I remember when I got a xiaomi with screen issues, ordered for a screen, fixed it and it turned out some parts wasn't working, had to get another one from another seller, it wasn't just it! Mehn, I was frustrated. now, the phone is as good as useless. A friend also​ had the same screen issue

One bad experience is enough....
There is nothing as good as knowing where to go or who to go to​ when your phone develops issues!!!!!!

Watched your videos and I can say it's an hardware problem. Pls next time you buy from these Chinese websites, use it for about 3days nonstop so you can detect any problem and should be any you can quickly open a dispute before the buyer's protection runs out.

So should I send it back like they asked me to? Cos sending it back seems expensive than ordering a new screen?

Hello everybody.....I finally got through to the dreami guys, I was asked to send a video of the phone's issh and I did, so they asked me this?

That I should flash the phone and if after that, it doesn't work? I should send the phone back to them so they can repair it.

Here is the question?? Wats the cost of sending the phone back or should I ask them if they will bear the cost of the shipping and all.

Or should I just repair the phone myself if it doesn't work after flashing?

No, I haven't tried that, I will do that once I lay my hands on a mouse.

Btw: after failing that code.....5 set of instructions came up, which one do I click on to perform the hardware test??

Go to settings, scroll down to 'about phone' and you'll see the kernel version. Alternatively dial the code in my last post.

You can keep the screen if it arrives, just in case.

And this came uo when I dialed the code

And I noticed the lower part of the screen fairly works and when I press the home keys I.e the home, back and minimize iish, that lower part of the screen that doesn't work well responds and some times, it doesn't respond at all!! And when the phone locks, I find it hard to swipe up and unlock....it takes me minutes to finally swipe up.....and sometimes, the whole screen doesn't even work at all.

The keypad test was fail....the keypad refused to come up at that stage sef
