That would be the ideal thing, but Masters and PhD abroad is so intensive that you don't even have time to sleep let alone take up a part time job. Your contribution is appreciated,

You are a big fool, am an NDDC scholar in Canada, a fellow Nigerian has been abandoned abroad and all you can say is that they're glorified militants.... . I don't blame you. .. . You've been in Nigeria all your life, ifyou were really educated and your mind is cultivated you'll realize that scholarships are not meant for the rich, but people from humble background who want to live a noble life by giving their time to EDUCATION. .. .. I added a scholarship worth 30k US dollars from NDDC
My SOA..... 1.5 million, a family member's account statement with about 3 million with a very busy cash flow for 4 months.
A house document....... A house worth 36 million Naira,
An employment letter with a Canadian oil company. Etc

My university certificate(graduated 2014 ) , NYSC cert(passed out July 2015)
WAEC certificate, first leaving school certificate, my CV, undergraduate scholarship award letters.... PTDF, DTSG etc.
..... Other supporting documents..... These are the major documents I uploaded alongside my application.

Finally my application was closed today, my visa has been approved, preparing to travel middle next week. Am so happy and grateful to God. And as many that are hoping for theirs to be approved, I pray yours will be successful and even faster than mine. I applied on the 27th of November via online route, did biometrics 30th November upfront medicals, medicals updated on the 24th of December and passport was requested on the 15th of January. Am going for Master of Engineering in systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton university Ottawa. Wish you guys all the best

27th November, did upfront medicals and medicals was updated on the 24th of december.....................................i was notified today.....exactly 7 weeks later.

Nawa it's exactly 7 weeks today since I submitted my online application, medicals updated 3 weeks ago, lectures started last week Wednesday and am yet to receive any response from embassy. Am freaking out seriously.

Hi everyone, I really appreciate the love we share in this thread.. .. Please I want to inquire how long it takes after updating ur medicals for the final decision to be taken. I applied on the 27th of November, did my biometrics on the 30th of November. My medicals was updated on the 24th of December and I passed. My school Carleton university in Ottawa started yesterday and I haven't heard from embassy.....pls does anyone know how long it takes between updating ur medicals to making the final decision??

Hy guys I really appreciate how u help one another, I have about 30k US dollars to fund my Msc program in Carleton university. I've applied for visa, I just wanna know if I stand a chance of getting the visa as my estimated one yr tuition fee for my program is about 14-16k CAD dollars. Please I need ur advice guys my sch is starting Jan 1st 2016.

Well my real guys here I just left Nitda office this morning, I scored 69 from delta state and I didn't get invite.. . So I went to Nitda office in area 11, I was told categorically that there's no money and that Nitda has been instructed to award scholarship to 1 candidate per state, it's no longer 2 per state. So if you are not the best in ur state, am afraid no hope this yr from NITDA, I was 2nd from delta but no hope.. .. So like I said before don't hope on government scholarships they can wake up and change policies overnight.... Keep ur shoulders high, don't be discouraged God isn't asleep,.. @Frank pls how sure are you about publishing the list after sallah cos last time I called a staff of Nitda, she told me she doesn't have an idea when it will be published, and that they were gonna contact successful candidates via mail. It's good to hopeful guys but I will wanna advise you guys not to put all your trust on government scholarships, I got a shocker from nddc 2weeks ago, right now m moving on and spreading my tentacles, wish you guys all the best.
