Chessbaby: Have you gotten any response? Are you in Germany now? Sorry for the late response. The 'lawyers' have come & gone. They did the verification all through November as I had 3different 'lawyers' in different locations but only met 1 Waiting for an update from the Consulate |

Yes, you don't need the certificate! I dont have the A1 myself. They didn't ask me for it. They only asked if I speak basic German & I replied, NOT YET Chessbaby: I need an information on this, I read somewhere on the consulate website that some one whose spouse has a Blue card and the applying spouse has a University degree that they don't need the language certificate. How true is this and does anyone fall under this category? Did they insist on the language certificate? |

Dee222: Hi everyone. Please what does affidavit of consent of parents for the family reunion of the child look like? Do we swear that in court or is just a signed personal letter? Please I'd really appreciate a response. thanks My confusion is in the affidavit you added. If it is affidavit, it has to be done in court. If it is just a consent letter from someone say your spouse permitting you to join with the child(ren) then it's just a written letter. Could be handwritten or typed. It has to be signed too |
