mstik: Don't you know when you hold on to hurt, you are killing yourself slowly? When you don't forgive, you are holding not only the person, but also yourself. The person would be living his or her life happily while you're filled with so much hate, anger and rage... No happiness or joy, just thinking about hurting the person, who probably doesn't care about you. I cannot go through this because of someone, I'd rather just let go and forgive, and live a peaceful life.

CelebritiesObituary? Russian Model Enraged After Her Picture Is Used As Tombstone Ad. (Pix) by nellyelitz(op):
A former Miss Russia is suing a Moscow graphic design company for using her face to promote tombstones emblazoned with photographs.
Horrified Irina Antonenko, 23, found dozens of photos of herself in a catalogue showing different types of headstones and memorial plaques.
But it was the date of death emblazoned over the headstones that really sent chills down the 2010 title winner’s spine.
The former Miss Universe contestant found out about the catalogue when a fan saw the snaps and posted them online.
Irina said: “I was then sent the pictures on my phone and it was like something from a horror film. Picture after picture showing me dead and buried.
“I’m always happy to do more photo modelling but not like this.”
Lawyers working for the former beauty queen have contacted the funeral parlour, that said the images and artwork had been provided by a local graphic design firm.
They have now obtained a court order against the graphic design company instructing them to destroy all the images and withdraw them from public distribution.
Business owner Isaac Borodin said he had been asked to produce the catalogue by a firm of funeral directors and had no idea who the girl in the photo was that his staff had selected from a picture library.
He said: “I don’t watch beauty contests and I didn’t know she was famous.”
“I just thought it was a pretty girl, and as I had the chance to use the copyright assumed it was OK.”

Develop the ability to forgive. Forgiveness is something that most people fail miserably at even thought it’s so simple.

Foreign Affairs49 Hostages Held By ISIS Freed: by nellyelitz(op): 1:51pm On Sep 20, 2014
From ABC News.

Dozens of Turkish hostages seized by the Islamic State group in Iraq were freed Saturday, resolving a serious crisis which Turkish officials had long cited as a reason to avoid moving aggressively against the violent militant group.
The 49 hostages were captured from the Turkish Consulate in Mosul, Iraq on June 11, when the Islamic State group overran the city in its surge to seize large swaths of Iraq and Syria. But the circumstances of their release — which drew flag waving crowds to the Turkish capital's airport — were clouded in mystery.
Turkish leaders gave only limited details of the release and the hostages declined to answer all but the most general questions from journalists when they arrived at Ankara airport around midday Saturday.
Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reported no ransom had been paid and "no conditions were accepted in return for their release" but the organization didn't cite any source for its reporting.
"I think it's fair to say that we haven't been told the full story," said Aaron Stein, an associate fellow at the London-based Royal United Services Institute who has studied Turkey's security policy.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the release was the result of the intelligence agency's "own methods," and not a special forces operations, but he didn't elaborate.
"After intense efforts that lasted days and weeks, in the early hours, our citizens were handed over to us and we brought them back to our country," Davutoglu said.
Families broke through security lines and rushed toward the plane to greet loved ones as they descended the stairs of Davutoglu's plane, whose arrival at Ankara's airport was broadcast live on Turkish television.
The joyous scene at the airport contrasts with the recent beheadings of two U.S. journalists and a British aid worker by the Islamic State group.
Hostages quizzed by journalists as they emerged from the plane said they couldn't go into detail as to the nature of their ordeal, but a couple of them hinted at ill treatment and death threats.
Ex-hostage Alptekin Esirgun told Anadolou that militants held a gun to Consul General Ozturk Yilmaz's head and tried to force him to make a statement.
Another, Alparslan Yel, said that the Islamic militants "treated us a little better because we are Muslims. But we weren't that comfortable. There was a war going on."
Turkey had been reluctant to join a coalition to defeat the Islamic State group, citing the safety of its 49 kidnapped citizens, but Stein said he doubted Turkey would suddenly adopt a much more muscular attitude toward the organization. Turkey might feel freer to advertise its existing efforts against the group, he said, citing its efforts to control oil smuggling across the border. But he said Turkey would not open its air bases to U.S. aircraft operating against the group.
"There will some changes, but not as much as people hope," he said.
Meanwhile the successful operation was likely to prove a boon to Turkey's government. During an impassioned speech following his flight's arrival in Ankara, Davutoglu, flanked by Yilmaz and others, took the opportunity to highlight Turkey's success and blast the political opposition. Davutoglu thanked the "nameless heroes" who were involved in the release.
Yilmaz, the freed consul general, thanked Turkish officials involved in his release but did not give details about their captivity or how they were freed.
He refused to take more questions, saying: "I haven't seen my family for 102 days. All I want to do is to go home with them."
It wasn't clear where the release took place, but the Anadolu Agency said the hostages had been held in eight separate addresses in Mosul. Their whereabouts were monitored by drones and other means, it said.
Meanwhile, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the Turks were freed through "a successful operation."
"I thank the prime minister and his colleagues for this operation which was pre-planned, whose every detail was calculated, which lasted through the night in total secrecy and ended successfully this morning," Erdogan said in a statement.
Iraqi military spokesman Lt. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi said the government had no information about the release of the hostages and didn't know where they had been held or where they were released.
Thirty-two Turkish truck drivers who were also seized in Mosul on June 6 were released a month later. Turkey did not provide information surrounding their release.

Christianity EtcNASA Finds Message From God On Mars by nellyelitz(op): 10:57am On Sep 20, 2014
NASA announced today that its Curiosity Rover has found an unambiguous message from God written on tablets in a Martian cave.
According to an official press release two giant stone slabs the size of small elephants were located deep inside a cavern abutting Aeolis Mons, a large mountain.
Upon one tablet is a copy of the Ten Commandments and the text of John 3:16 written in 12 languages - including English, Spanish, Chinese, Basque and Hebrew. On the other tablet is a simple message in English reading "I am real."
According to top scientists who have studied the discovery extensively, these findings may have definitively established Christianity as the one true religion.
"This is amazing," says Syms Covington, an Australian researcher working for NASA's Mars Exploration Program. "We went into the cave looking for water, and we found proof of God's existence instead.
"I mean how else did those tablets get there? I can tell you one thing: there's not a single atheist inside NASA's control room now. What we saw was jaw-dropping."
Genesis 1:1
NASA's Curiosity rover arrived on Mars in August of last year with a mission to explore the Martian climate and geology for signs for habitability.

Thus far the mission has been a success, with the discovery of an ancient seabed and chemicals needed for life suggesting that Mars was once suitable for life.
However the tablets, both of which are signed "Peace and Love - Yahweh," represent the rover's most significant find to date, and is perhaps the most important scientific event in history.
"When people find out about this, they will demand change in our society," explains a political scientist at Georgetown University. "Democracy will have to give way to theocracy. We're gonna have to build more churches and reintroduce prayer into schools. Abortion is defiantly going to be illegal within a few months."
Despite its potential significance, Covington fears that the Earth-shattering discovery may not make the impact it should.
"Unfortunately, the mainstream media is so anti-Christian, they might not even pick up this story," he explains. "But God is real. We have proof. And everyone deserves to hear the truth."

PoliticsA Crocodile’s Crocodile Tears by nellyelitz(op): 9:24pm On Sep 19, 2014
I read this from an online news page OPINIONS.NG and its worth sharing...enjoy...

There are very interesting facts about the crocodile. It is said that the crocodile is perhaps the only animal that sheds tears while eating, hence the expression ‘crocodile tears.’ Meal time is supposed to be a pleasurable time but not for the crocodile. When it consumes its victim, especially according to legend, a human victim, it sheds tears apparently in pity for the victim.
That is not all, a crocodile doesn’t pursue its prey or victim, the prey comes to it. The crocodile simply hides in water, with only its eyes, ears and nose not submerged which most of its preys don’t notice. It gets closer and attacks. In case the prey is by the side of the water, the crocodile moves closer and then lunches itself foward with its powerful hind legs and tail, then drags its prey into the waters.
The reptile is also very territorial and fights fiercely to protect it. It is venerated in some parts of the world especially in Papua New Guinea.
It is ironic that the crocodile shares some similarities with a human crocodile. Few days back this human crocodile which had been in hibernation and had submerged itself in the water but kept its ears, eyes and nose above it finally emerged. This territorial crocodile, the Lord of the Manor, venerated by his people returned to his territory to shed crocodile tears. His people, the victims, came out in large numbers to welcome him and he was so moved by their expression of love that he shed the rare tears.
Several days before then the commander -in-chief was on his way to a neighbouring country to see how he could work with his neighbour’s military to rout militants who had become a thorn in the flesh. Crocodile, allegedly a long-time sponsor of militants might have wanted to go with C-in-C but security report and better judgment must have counselled against it.
The C-in-C must have also tried to avoid crocodile by every means possible, so as not to tarnish his image in the press as someone carousing with a notable sponsor of terrorists. So C-in C leaves the shores of the country but on landing at the other end, guess what happens? Right there before his very eyes is crocodile, grinning from ear to ear to welcome the C-in-C as if he is the host or worst still a part of the advance team to prepare the ground for a smooth arrival and stay of C-in-C in that country.
C-in-C smiles back politely so as not to embarrass him but pulls him aside for a tete-a-tete.
My friend wetin you dey find for here?
Crocodile says nothing, but continues to smile with his goro-tainted teeth and a not-too- handsome face.
I say what are you doing here? Are you my running mate? Na me born you or na my papa born you or them born us together? Or we be twins? Which one, tell me, which one?
Crocodile continues to grin, much to the chagrin of C-in-C who is now distraught and does not know what to do with the vermin in front of him, who would do nothing, but open his discoloured teeth in a permanent plastic smile that continues to infuriate him because crocodile does not just have any reason to be where he is at all. He is already becoming a an embarrassment.
My friend, don’t let me see you near me at all. If you are looking for photo –op, better look elsewhere for it but with me, no show.
For the first time crocodile speaks, which actually startles the C-in-C who has resigned himself to fate that crocodile is going to remain deaf and dumb.
My C-in-C, we are together, this country… (suddenly he realises that he is in another country) sorry, our country belongs to all of us and we must join hands to salvage it together. As for the photo-op, I have already taken the opportunity. Oga don’t deny me o, we are together in this war against those fundamentalists.
Crocodile begins to grin again, rocking from side to side. C-in-C shakes his head and moves on as his aides usher him towards the abode of his guest.
Welcome to our country, how are you and how was your trip? C-in-C’s host says as he welcomes his guest with open arms, smiling.
Oh my brother, I am fine. Thank you very much I should have been here much earlier. I was delayed by a crocodile.
C-in-C’s host freezes. A crocodile? But we don’t have crocodiles in this place.
Oh, this crocodile followed me all the way from my country. I don’t know how he made it through the security checks, boarded a plane and landed here waiting for me. Can you imagine he actually came to welcome me? Even crocodiles could fly sometimes.
C-in-C’s guest now gets the drift of his statement.
A human crocodile you mean?
Yes, you are right.
Oh no, in our own country we cage them and put them where they belong. Crocodiles have no place in our midst. I don’t know how you people are able to cope with such characters. Don’t mind how venerated he is, how territorial he is, how powerful his jaws are or how clever he could be. Just cage him.
That is exactly what I will do, so that he would have a permanent place to shed his tears. Only this one is a stubborn and crafty crocodile.

SportsRe: Chelsea Has Inflicted More Premier League Defeats To Man Utd Than Any Other Club by nellyelitz(op): 9:04pm On Sep 19, 2014
Chelsea’s biggest test by far so far this season comes on Sunday when they visit reigning champions Manchester City, a club they have visited 17 times in the Premier League era (the ‘monied era’) in the league.
In those 17 games, they have won 11 times, drawn once and lost five. It needs to be noted that four of the five defeats at City were in the four consecutive seasons from 2009-10, with that losing run ended by Chelsea’s single-goal win in February.
Chelsea have an enviable record against both Manchester teams in the Premier League overall. In fact they have a better record against both City and Manchester United than any other Premier League team. They have inflicted 22 defeats on City in the era, 11 of them at City; and beaten United 15 times in the era, six times at Old Trafford.

SportsChelsea Has Inflicted More Premier League Defeats To Man Utd Than Any Other Club by nellyelitz(op): 9:01pm On Sep 19, 2014
Chelsea’s four wins from four Premier League games so far give them the only 100 per cent record this season. In winning their first four games, they become only the 16th team in 23 PL seasons to do so.
On four of the 15 previous occasions, it has been Chelsea themselves achieving this feat: in 2004-05 the run stopped at four wins on the bounce, in 2005-06 it went on to become a run of nine straight wins, in 2009-10 it became six, and in 2010-11 it became five.
Chelsea went on to win the title in three of the four previous seasons they started with four straight wins, with second place in 2010-11 being the only exception. Here’s a full list of the teams starting with four wins and what happened next:

bolaino: Good question my good man, I've practiced different religions and I have been called all sorts of names, but I would rather stick to christianity for now, we live in an extremely Religiously intolerant society, and I don't want to be caught in between the lines, I was born a christian, and going to church has become a social norm for me, church is a social organisation for me, where we get together family and friends. And also share experiences. That's why I am still a christian, I do not believe that a white man named jesus died to save me, that story is absurd.
i see no bases from all these but just a rant. Try and get a life by choosing were u belong.remb if u're not IN u're OUT nothing like INBETWEEN in Faith.
Health10 Amazing Health Benefits Of Olive Oil by nellyelitz(op): 8:38pm On Sep 19, 2014
Olive oil is perfect oil for good health. It has a lot of amazing health benefits. Here are 10 of them.

(1) Cancer Prevention
The phytonutrient in olive oil called oleocanthal mimics the effect of ibuprofen in reducing inflammation, which can decrease the risk of breast cancer and its recurrence. Squalene and lignans are among the other olive oil components being studied for their possible effects on cancer.

(2) Keeps the Heart Healthy
Olive oil lowers the levels of total blood cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides. At the same time it does not alter the levels of HDL-cholesterol (and may even raise them), which plays a protective role and prevents the formation of fatty patches, thus stimulating the elimination of the low-density lipoproteins.

(3) Controls Blood Pressure
Recent studies indicate that regular consumption of olive oil can help decrease both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

(4) Keeps Diabetes in Control
It has been demonstrated that a diet that is rich in olive oil, low in saturated fats, moderately rich in carbohydrates and soluble fiber from fruit, vegetables, pulses and grains is the most effective approach for diabetics. It helps lower “bad” low-density lipoproteins while improving blood sugar control and enhances insulin sensitivity.

(5) Reduces Obesity
Although high in calories, olive oil has shown to help reduce levels of obesity.

(6) Improves Sex Life
Olive oil improves sex power as it helps blood circulation in your body which ultimately results higher sexual arousal.

(7) Saves Your Skin
Extra virgin olive oil helps with anti-ageing, osteoporosis and skin damage. It adds a protective coating on the skin, both through consumption and application.

(cool Mental Agility
Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fat & research suggests that it helps prevent or slow down the cognitive decline associated with diseases like Alzheimer’s.

(9) Strong Immune System
Olive oil is loaded with antioxidants which is vital for strengthening and protecting your immune system – extra virgin olive oil may help you become more resistant to infection. This wide range of important antioxidants isn’t found in other oils.

(10) Helps Run Body Smoothly
Extra virgin olive oil helps the body run smoothly as it contributes to the operational health of such vital areas as the stomach, pancreas and intestines.
IslamRe: Who Are The True Muslims? by nellyelitz(m): 7:21pm On Sep 19, 2014
DonXavi: WHO ARE THE TRUE MUSLIMS?

We have many Muslims who are intelligent, respectful and peaceful. These nice set of Muslims have openly condemned Boko Haram and ISIS, claiming that the violent groups are not true Muslims. But Boko Haram and ISIS insist that their actions are commanded as the right way of life for all Muslims and have described the peaceful Muslims as hypocrites. So who are the true Muslims? The Boko Haram Leader is an Imam and the leader of ISIS holds a doctorate degree in Islamic studies. So are the peaceful ones the true Muslims?

Muslims cry day and night that, "Islam will dominate the world". Which Islam will dominate the world, the peaceful one or the terror striking one? Can peaceful Muslims dominate? Can the peaceful Muslims enforce Sharia Law on a nation? Quran 8:39 commands that Muslims should fight until Islam dominates the whole world. How do the peaceful Muslims intent to obey this verse. It sure appears to me that the duty of peaceful Muslims is to deceive the world into accepting Islam in peaceful societies while waiting for the true Muslims to come and dominate with terror. This is a conspiracy against the human race.
meaning both the moderate and the radical muslims still likes bombs shocked
