Secondly, Ijaw and Igbo is not the samething as Igbo and Hausa, unless u are confirming now that Ijaw resent Igbos. Igbo and Hausa have a bloody history, we might not be so forgiving but if an Ijaw man committed such crime, other Ijaw will not suffer for that.
That is y i said if there is something else, the ijaw should just say becos i dont see how this one isolated case cane be so tribalised to the point of attacks and threatening war. Yes, inspector gadget "it wasn't confirmed he used her for rituals", he just killed his landlords daughter who was his ex and cut of her breast and yes I resent igbos like you, tochukwu & nwaabakiliki |

I see you modified your post...
Well, Yes it is true that our properties have been destroyed in Bayelsa but thank God no lives have been lost, I know you Afonjas were looking forward to a clash between Igbo's and the Ijaws well sorry this one disappointed you...
As for Port-harcourt, is it Ikwerre that you are expecting to fight their Igbo brothers in PH na wa for you, or is it the Ijaws who are not aborigines of PH that you want to do same in PH. Guy you funny, I see you are disappointed. Only someone that hasn't been to ph will say Ijaws are not Aborigines to Ph |
Politics › Re: Igbo's should not be in higly volatile and under-developed states like Bayelsa by nengibo: 9:33pm On May 12, 2017 |
myplaydiary: Amy don't fall for the whole Ikwerre thing Ikwerre is only playing Nigerian politics.
Do you really think that in a case of Nigerians disintegration that Ikwerres will leave Igbo and go with Ijaws?
Now Pat Utomi a Igbo scholar and elder statesman have come out to say that PH is Igboland have you heard any renowned Ikwerre son come out to disprove his claim, the only ones who will make attempt to do that are the Ijaws
Now let me categorically state people who keep singing the PH is not Igboland and Ikwerre is not Igbo and their interest.
Yorubas, especially on Nairaland, but their elders know that PH is Igboland, interest; they don't want Igbo's to have a sea port, access to the sea or anything that comes close to Lagos.
Ijaws, both online and offline, interest; they are illegal occupant of PH so they want Ikwerres to denounce the larger Igbo family so it will be easy for them to either by hook or crook or the use of force to take PH when the time is right trust me that time will come even the Ikwerres know this, they and the Ijaws are sitting on a keg of gunpowder secondly Ijaws still live in Igbo properties till this day and they know the implications. So they worry and desperately want Ikwerre to denounce Igbo for ijaw interest.
So my dear don't fall for the antics on NL. Ikwerres are wise, do you think it is a coincidence that some identify with Igbo and Ohanaeze while some play neutral, while others disassociate.
Have you not notice Ijaws saying Okirika is Ijaw, but will be quick to say Ikwerre is not Igbo even when Ikwerre speaks Igbo and okirika speaks a language that is not intelligible with the Ijaws and even more Igbo sounding...
My dear don't fall for Ijaw antics... and harbor no hate towards Ikwerre or PH it's basically for survival. Lol, ipob logic makes me wonder, you don't like Ijaws yet you want them in your Biafrian nation, Port harcourt will never be igbo land because Ikwerre isn't igbo, Eleme isn't igbo(considered ph too), and Okirika isn't igbo 3 |

TonyeBarcanista: I am reading in shame the disgraceful act of some indigent Ijaw youths in Biagbolo, Bayelsa against innocent traders of Igbo extraction under the guise of avenging the death of 17-year-old Faith Omosovu Pius, who was murdered by a certain "Tochukwu" suspected to be of Igbo extraction.
While I'm concerned about the gruesome murder of Faith and the calamity it has brought on the people of Biagbolo, the family of the deceased and the entire Ijaw nation, I can't help but condemn the irresponsible and barbaric actions of some youths in the community in reaction to the sad incident.
Firstly, the youths must understand that even in animal kingdom the action of a an animal cannot be said to be that of the entire group except they assent to it. So why should responsible and law abiding traders be meant to pay for the sin of a particular individual? Why should we take action that even animals will frown at? We are meant to be above every animal, so why should we do what they despise? What concerns the Igbo businessman in his shop with the action of Tochukwu?
Secondly, our people in Bayelsa must realise that any society that does not make herself to be conducive and accommodating to visitors and investors is bound to the ruins. Even the greatest economies in the world open their doors to people with legitimate interest. Why should some Bayelsans take action that discourages not only existing Businesses but also prospective businesses?
Thirdly, what about if every tribe in Nigeria adopt such strategy? What about if Yoruba people attack Ijaws in their various communities in Ikorodu and other parts of Ogun and Lagos States simply because some misguided Ijaw people took their militancy to a higher realm by engaging in kidnapping, armed robbery, reckless killings and other social vices within Yoruba land? Will it be justified?
And fourthly, how are we even sure that the culprit has no Ijaw accomplice? Will they kill all Ijaws and destroy their sources of livelihood if an Ijaw man is found out to be an accomplice?
For the sake of sanity, a crime has been committed, the appropriate thing to do is to ensure that the authorities act on it and justice be done, while working with the Igbo community/traders within the locality to ensure that the culprit and his accomplice(s) are not shielded.
I urge the Police and Bayelsa state government to do all within their powers to ensure that justice is not only done to Miss Faith but also to those Igbo traders that fell victim of the misguided actions of some youths in the community.
In strong terms, I condemn the violence against law abiding Igbo traders and residents in Bayelsa state. I sincerely apologize over the barbaric action of those misguided youths.
Ijaw means truth, the truth we must not compromise. In Peace Faith...
